what is the chances of chirs knights being a potential rising star nominie?

Chris has a fairly high profile at the moment, for a young player, so you would think that he if performs he will get a fair bit of consideration for a rising star nomination.

No doubt he has a high profile in SA but does he have a high profile in victoria? Personally, I am not so sure.

Having said that, his pure ability to get the footy will see him get the nomination before the year is out. Once he gets a bit more comfortable with the pace of AFL footy, he will be getting a high number of possesions and considering his consistency to find the footy week in week out I am sure he will put a string of good games together to be considered by the panel.

He would probably be the only one that will get the nomination from the Crows. Him and maybe Bernie Vince.

Award yes. Nomination, no.

He won't win the award. I can bet macca23's left dangly and *PAF's right dangly (just to make things more interesting) that they will give the rising star award to Murphy from Carlton.

Knights should win the nomination though.

I actually feel he is very highly regarded outside of SA and I would be very suprised if he doesnt get a nomination.

You just have to listen to some of the commentators and the amount of people who have him in their dream team to understand this.

That and they had a hype story on him on afl.com... i think hes building a profile.
