Been waiting to see this since we recruited Krak last year..
this is an awesome combination of magic and flair..
can't wait.

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Wholeheartedly agree. Plenty of black magic, add Didak to the mix and it should be a lot of fun watching them run amok tomorrow.

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Will be too skillful and quick for the Bulldogs tomorrow, our small forwards have a good record vs. the bullies.

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

I'm curious to see if we'll even see all three are even in the forward line together at any given point, or if Davis will play in the pocket again.

Should be great to watch. I've been looking forward to this happening since we got Krak, who knows if it works great we might see it a few more times this year. I reckon they'll be looking forward to it as well since Davis and Krak are good mates.

Probably not, most likely rotate one through the bench to keep them fresh at all times. Although if it appears we are about to tear the doggies backline completely open Mick may just be persuaded to slip the third on and really rip the bullies a couple of new ones.

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Pretty sure one will be a sub guys, possibly even subbed for the other, krak for dick seems reasonable given both have had limited match time.

All 3 have already been the sub this year, making one of them the sub 2 times in 5 weeks doesn't fit with our policy of rotating it. It's possible I guess, but all 3 need gametime badly I can't possibly see what any of them have to gain by being the sub again.

I imagine that Dick will play 3 qaurters, and they'll sub him for someone else.

Remembering that two playes are effectively "subbed" or play limited game time each, who can you see us subbing if not one of those 3?

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

I'd say Wellingham or Sidebottom should get the green vest. And one of Krak, Davis or Dick will be subbed off. Better they all play at least 3 quarters and get the run than sitting on the bench for 3/4s for a second game.

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Not quite as bullish as most on this threesome in the team.

Against poorer opposition yes I can see they could tear them to shreds with their pace and skill.

Against strong bodied top teams, I'd be concerned re their overall lack of physical presence and tough tackling abilities.

And finals games, small forwards aren't known as matchwinners in general, always exceptions I know, but players like Leon as a forward, Milne etc often go to water when the real tight one on ones apply and their space is shut down.

I'm yet to be convinced Dick best 22 atm, Leon is 21-25, Krak 20-24, so prefer Beams to all of them TBH. Glad Krak playing :)

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Bit rough on Wellers considering his bang up job last week, I reckon it'd be Sidey - but this is all speculation

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

I reckon Sidey will be the sub this week. Definitely looking forward to seeing Leon, Krak & Dick run out together!

Re: Krakeour, Dick, Davis combo..

Will be awesome to watch and believe it will happen.

I guessed Sidey as an option as our sub in another forum. Just looks like he could do with a rest. I am predicting that Dick will be subbed off at 3 quarter time.

Well both leon and Krak had great games.. Leon's passing was immaculate.. by far the best kick in the team at the moment. Hard to believe he was offered up for trade last year. Krak what can I say he showed such brilliance.
Dick had a quieter game, showed some nerves, there were a couple of goals he would normally have kicked easy, one hit the post the other out of bounds.. could have easily at least ended up with two but handed one to sidebottom in the goalsquare, did the unselfish thing..
He looks much more solid and was tackling hard so good signs for a recovery, hope to see him again. If he plays a few more games he's surely pull out a ripper soon enough..

Well the more he plays the better, but yea he needs to be eased back into it.
We have Beams to come back, and Macaffer was so good late last year it would be a shame for him to sit in the VFL for too long so it will be difficult for him to get a steady run. Would be amazing to see him reach full match fitness though.. he's been so good in the past just on only a few games, after a full season he could be so good.

Pretty amazing I think how this resembles the Blues trio of Garlett, Yarran, Betts that everyone was raving on about last couple years. Didn't work for the Blues in 2010, but seems to be doing ok for them this year notwithstanding Yarran's recent injury.

Yarran and Davis in backline both with great damaging kicks is very similar, and the two freaky FWD goalkickers as well.

Really we don't have this mooted "three amigos" at all we have the "five fingers of doom" in Beams, Dick, Didak, Krakouer and McCafe.
Add to them Blair as evidenced by his 5 and Davis and we have a small forward brigade the envy of any side. (I'm not writing Davis off as a forward just yet.)
