Phantom you are very misguided I was last involved at the club in 2011. That's over 4 years hardly a power broker and as for lying low I have got a life outside of big footy.

Stanny had a good hit out last night.. Over 30 on the track and plenty off apologies aswell.. A lot of new faces which is great.. Both Edwards & forys training.. Should be another strong stanny outfit..
Incredible, apparently my comment has lead you to gush unashamedly about blokes turning up to training on a mild summer afternoon coupled with the ability of others to apologise because they obviously have something better to do this far out from the second month of autumn.

Logan Demasi and Jack Donnell two that I know of, both played some senior footy at Ky, Logan the first half of last year in the ones. Lancy smashed us out of the ballpark with their offer!
Murchison have announced James Milne and Jake Ewart are back.

That's better recruiting from Lancy. Young players with plenty of upside. The others named on the GV page are also very handy. Would have really struggled for game time at Ky, but paying these guys huge sums is just ridiculous. It's the same old thing, stay and fight for a spot, or go down the road and get paid to play. Good luck to them and I just hope that they return to Ky at some stage to try and see if they can make the step up.

I see your point. Better recruiting as they have gone local. Young players getting paid big sums in general is what I was concerned about. I would like to hope their overall outlay is a lot less then last year.

Some good twos players at gv go to kdfl clubs and improve. Others stagnate. None of them have prooved themselves at Senior level yet! Money only puts pressure on them. Will be interested to see how they go

rumours are that wombats have signed two big names from the geelong will be guns in this league i think they are flying under the radar a lot of talk about other clubs i think they have recruited very nicely
