You are not answering the question. Are you saying he wasn't under threat? Or that because he was there and had a weapon he should have accepted his fate?

By the way open carry v concealed carry is an age old debate in itself.
Under threat from the guy who threw the plastic bag? Or the guy with the skateboard?

Irrelevant. He brought a loaded assault rifle, felt 'threatened' and murdered 2 people. He'll get off though.

Exactly. And that's it.

There's always a "but" with you lot though, isn't there?
The “but” here was that pesky matter of the law and the court case we’re discussing.
You support people taking justice into their own hands?

Particularly pre-emptive justice? I mean, sweet little Kyle knew nothing about his victims when he decided to pump a bullet or two into each of them.
Nope I’m not into vigilantism. It’s just a silver lining that this guy was a seriously bad person.

What would a trained professional in the area of policing and crowd control do? Your answer lies there.

Probably not allow him/herself to be isolated like that in the first place. And then shoot as a last resort, after perhaps threatening to shoot?

Another reason that this twit shouldn't have inserted himself in that situation at all. He didn't have the necessary training and/or experience.

The problem is bringing a gun to protests. Once you do that, every fight is a fight to the death.
There shouldn't be any weapons at these things imo.

There is though. Guns aren’t on trial the 18 year old boy is

But it's not irrelevant and that's why he will get off.

A trained professional would most likely have pulled the trigger.

Do you think a trained professional with an AR in their hands would allow someone to physically attack them?
Do you think a trained professional would allow himself to get in a situation like that in the first place?

I wouldn't have been attacked as Im not carrying around like an Ar 15.
Plenty of unarmed dead people in that nation from riots.

None that night though. As much as people seem to want that to not be the case.

Yeah that's what the protesters were on about, and racist turds like Rittenhouse wanted to defend.
That's the thing, isn't it?

"Shoot first, think later" cops, who Kyle decided to emulate, were what caused the whole shebang in the first place.

Mind you, Kyle did better than the cop in question here, who pumped 7 rounds into Blake (you know, just to be sure, as six may not have been enough) and still couldn't kill him.
