Yes you can dreamI would think that a pick in the 10-15 range & an early - mid second Rd or a player of need would be looked at as a minimum.
2 late firsts would would also be pretty close.
1 early & a mid first would be overs IMO but if it get us closer to another cup I don't mind what would be paid as I have liked Lachie for a while now.
It's a shame that someone doesn't talk about Hopper & Lachie & that little Mexican girl popped up followed by the bald guy with a flashy rainbow background.... it's Happening!
That would be my off season complete.
A man can dream right
They've already got De Boer, doubt they'd want Puopolo. You'd surely take a 2018 1st Rounder from Hawks & Poppy for Whitfield?

They have enquired in the past, not to sure they are keen to lose Whitfield to get him though. They've already got De Boer, doubt they'd want Puopolo.

Well he's a similar/better player than Puopolo so I don't think GWS would be interested in that floated trade.Whats De Boer got anything to do about it, so he's a goal kicking defensive forward?

I'd actually place De Boer, Mzungu and Lloyd as better forwards than Puopolo currently. Please take off your Hawthorn scarf and show some realism.LOL.......similar and better player. May God have mercy on your soul.
If you're deadly serious, then I'm sorry, I shouldn't be poking fun at someone that's new to this game.

What has Mzungu done to prove he is currently better? He has played 4 games this season (injury did have a factor in it) and was delisted last season.I'd actually place De Boer, Mzungu and Lloyd as better forwards than Puopolo currently. Please take off your Hawthorn scarf and show some realism.

Mate cmon, none of them have ever been to Poppy's levelI'd actually place De Boer, Mzungu and Lloyd as better forwards than Puopolo currently. Please take off your Hawthorn scarf and show some realism.
Yes he's played less games but he's made much more impact in those games. Maybe that ones debatable but the other two aren't.What has Mzungu done to prove he is currently better? He has played 4 games this season (injury did have a factor in it) and was delisted last season.
Don't take it to heart. Mzungu, DeBoer and Lloyd are very very good forwards. That's a bit too complicated for him at this point of time.........give him a pointer about hand balling, ease the kid in.
Poppy is no world beater but he's got those guys covered by a long way.I'd actually place De Boer, Mzungu and Lloyd as better forwards than Puopolo currently. Please take off your Hawthorn scarf and show some realism.
As previously said, they're very good forwards so nothing for Paul to be ashamed of.Poppy is no world beater but he's got those guys covered by a long way.
No they are not. Poppy has kicked more goals in the last 6 years than all those 3 combined. Can take a hanger and his forward pressure is 2nd to none.As previously said, they're very good forwards so nothing for Paul to be ashamed of.

That aint gonma happen because he's contracted and we need him. Dont hate the thought of a mutual agreeable trade, but I've thought about the options and concluded the makings of a deal just aren't there in this case.Back on the thread topic, would love Lachie at the Hawks but at the right price.
HahaWell he's a similar/better player than Puopolo so I don't think GWS would be interested in that floated trade.
Mate, I wouldn't even bother with a reasonable response to utter crap ! De Boer and who?? Puopolo 3 time premiership forward is enough. Or just a simple:Put simply as a defensive forward pocket, hes faster, he has better defensive pressure he's a better mark better contested player and kicks more goals.....basically in every important aspect of a small defensive forward. Poppy is superior.
Now please teach the kid about the art of a hand ball......he's waiting.
Next years draft is always strong.Supposedly
