Yes, but not sure where the posts are.

May have been since deleted.
Went back on the link someone provided, didn't seem to be any in the next 10-15 posts

I am happy with this outcome. I was thinking over the weekend that we had blown a chance for ruck depth, and that McAndrew could be taken in the mid-season draft by another club needing a ruck if our pick is high. I therefore was pleasantly very surprised when I learnt this afternoon that McAndrew had been selected in time in the SSP, but that the announcement had been delayed. This completes a successful drafting period for the club. Now it is time to replicate the success on field!

I can't recall exactly who was attacking you, but they look like complete fools now.

Did you find anyone attacking him? Or was this made up in your head?

I questioned his source - as forcing a player to retire in February to open up a list spot on the 30th of May doesn't make sense to me.

So categorical... when they in fact were so wrong.

It actually wasn't categorical at all.

Thrillthorpe said that the club was pushing Strachan to retire so that they could open a spot in the MSD because the SSP was closed. This is pretty different to what actually happened (Strachan retired before the SSP closed and we signed McAndrew and we don't have an open spot for the MSD).

Well, we know McAndrews spend 3 and a half years on Sydney's list before being delisted and is not a project ruckman as he's about to turn 25.

Really, this is the Strachan replacement. A top tier SANFL ruck who will hopefully sit on our list for 3 years (1 as a SPP, 2 rookie) and never play a single game for us. The ROB replacement likely comes this offseason as we are just about forced to try to get someone to move here for a ruck job.
25 must be just about the ideal age to recruit a ruck

A dotting i's, crossing t's list management move

Correct decision made. ROB insurance but also hopefully lights a fire under him if there's someone there with designs on being the No 1, rather than someone happy to be No 2.

ROB played much better football after he was dropped but he seems to be very much a player in need of the stick approach regarding motivation.

Exactly the example you want from a leader of the club

And some were questioning ROB being in the leadership group and previously at times questioning his character!!

“But since I’ve settled in and got up to speed with everything, I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of the pre-season, whether that’s taking things out of ROB’s (Reilly O’Brien) game, chatting in depth with the coaches or just being out on the track.

“I can’t thank ROB enough, he’s been incredible in helping me along the way since I arrived, and bashing into him each session has been really beneficial for me and hopefully he’s got a lot out of it as well.

“Having someone like that to lean on has been super helpful and I can’t wait to continue learning from him in the future.”

The majority have questioned his place in the team and how as a leader he needs to be dropped to pull his finger out. Very few about his character

No someone did, but wasn't in the rumours thread..

The post has since disappeared.

The way you are reacting, I gather it may have been you.

Rushing to resign Boralse and Berry prior to trade period didnt make any sense either, we possibly could've got something in return for Berry that opened a spot for a better 2nd ruck option, but wouldn't have thought too many teams would've jumped onto Borlase so we probably had time to 2nd list lodgment period at least.
yep, agree with that too.

Unsure if we have a hesitancy to trade players we dont have to trade, or we jusyt dont have desirable players. I thought we could have been a bit more aggressive trade period in offloading players.

Having an issue with not having enough list spots in a bumper draft when you have come off a season finishing 15th isn't great list management.
