I know on the main board that there is one going, so feel free not to indulge, but I was more interested what Blues fans thought.
The timing is best now due to injuries, form, kids - we have got some insight into what impact these may have for the following year.

  1. WCE - still the team to beat
  2. Sydney - very quiet in pre-season, will be better with Spider
  3. Freo - big improvers last year, will get a little better
  4. West Bulldogs - increase depth through past injuries will see them strong
  5. Melbourne - will fall short again unless senior players stand up in finals
  6. Adelaide - looking more fragile each year. Injuries the big story this year.
  7. St Kilda - New coach, new plan, time to settle in.
  8. Geelong - might just sneak into the 8 if King and ottens play full years
  9. Richmond - where else?
  10. Hawthorn - another year of pumping games into the kids.
  11. Carlton - On the march now. Waiting for some to develop still, have caught up to Hawks due to higher quality picks.
  12. Port - Some good kids, but still rely on older guys to set the tone
  13. Brisbane - fitness of Brown is crucial. Could sneak to 8-10 with some luck.
  14. Collingwood - will start poorly due to injuries, and not finish off much better. Poor midfield, defence looking a bit old now.
  15. Essendon - depending on injuries could even sneak into the 8. Need all of Johnsons, Lloyd, Hird, Fletcher, Michael and Lucas fit to go anywhere.
  16. Roos - Loss of Thommo is huge, robbing peter to pay paul to cover gaps
Just some thoughts on who and why.:)

With the NAB cup and recent events, injuries etc, do you see it still finishing like that or would you make changes?
I have done mine on the main thread, but have changed it a few times and will prolly do so one more time before the kick off.

Geelong - might just sneak into the 8 if King and ottens play full years

Better chance of Jennifier Hawkins selling the record out the front of gate 5 at the G in a bikini than King and Ottens playing a full year.

I think Sydney have reached their peak last year and will be low in the 8.
West Coast have a lot of Sh1# in their club and with players. May finish 4th or 5th.
St Kilda.....top 4.
North....I agree may struggle (last)
Hawthorn & Blues around 10th & 11th depending on injuries to who?
Essendon either 9th or 12th/13th depending on injuries.

Hmm, i'll give it a go. very tricky though.

Actually, no i have no idea.

:)

West Coast on top.

Carlton 9th or 10th, (i think we'll be doing finals but i dare say it).

Second last - Port Adelaide
Last - Roos

1. Sydney

5. Geelong
6. Melbourne
7. Essendon
8. Carlton

10. Lions
11. Hawthorn
12. Adelaide
13. Port
14. Collingwood
15. Richmond
16. Kangaroos

1. West Coast-Will once again be the team to beat, despite all their troubles
2. Freo-Will be hard to beat. Probably play in the grand final
3. Sydney-will be up there for one last year before they go down a bit.
4. Adelaide-Dad's army can't hold them up forever. Still have a lot of class, but their kids are average
5. Bulldogs-Another good year, expect them to excite once again, but I don't think they have what it takes to go the whole way
6. Melbourne-Will be good again, but not that good
7. St. Kilda-First year under a new coach, they will struggle, but will still make itdue to their quality list
8. Collingwood-Only their incredible draw saves them from slipping well out of the top 8

9. Port Adelaide-Have a very solid group of kids coming through. May sneak into the 8, but will be close.
10. Geelong-Too unpredictable, could be anything. Have a very good list, but are they mentally strong enough?
11. Hawthorn-Great list of kids, but they will be down here for one more year.
12. Brisbane-Won't be as bad as many think. Good kids coming through, experienced players still great. Could be a surprise packet this year
13. Carlton-Modest improvement. Not expecting much more than this, anything more is a bonus. Slowly but surely improving & rising
14. Richmond-Pathetic. Should beat them round 1. Seriously, Richmond are hopeless. Their kids are crap. Will be the big sliders.
15. Essendon-Will improve from last year, wouldn't surprise me if they finish above Richmond. Will still have an average year, but there will be improvement
16. Kangaroos-Worst list in the AFL. With Thompson in the team I rated them a 60% chance of winning the spoon. Now it's a near certainty IMO.
