My conservative prediction (beat Richmond and Dons) is we sneak into 7th and play away to North.

If we win all our remaining games and other games go our way we can still get 4th spot and play Geelong. Not sure if that is a good thing getting smashed in the first week of the finals :)

Heres my prediction (seems wrong to have Richmond in 8th!)

1 Geelong
2. Bulldogs
3. Hawks
4. St Kilda
5. Sydney
6. North
7 Crows
8. Richmond
9. Pies
10. Lions
11. Carlton

We may not beat the Dons, but I think we will beat the Bullies.

Bullies will rest players for this game R22?

Why?

Well for starters they have secured almost a top berth and it would be their last road trip for the season.

Im very confident we will roll them if we need to win this one !

Richmond could sneak through by virtue of their two final games being against Freo and Melbourne. I think you are right with Blues and Lions as they both have particularly tough runs home - Carlton's only "easy" game against Port this week, while Brisbane has Hawks, Bulldogs, Carlton and Sydney. You've got the pies losing all of their remaining games and I don't think that will happen. I think they'll get at least two. You've got Saints winning ALL of their remaining 4 where I think only two of those are likely.

My Ladder (with us winning 3 of the 4):

1. Geelong
2. Bulldogs
3. Hawthorn
4. Adelaide
5. St Kilda
6. Sydney
7. Kangaroos
8. Collingwood

With us winning 2 of the 4:

Geelong
Bulldogs
Hawthorn
Sydney
St Kilda
Collingwood
Adelaide
Richmond

Damn, it's still too hard! :D

Sorry to quote the whole thing, but that actually looks possible!
Still, with our forward line, you have to wonder about our ability to beat anyone let alone Collingwood or WB.
Still with Collingwood's troubles after last night, it may just fall our way. Although I'd be a little concerned if we managed to sneak our way through those games and end up in the GF against Geelong. We might not lose by 119 points, but we could vey well go goal less for the entire game!

Sorry to put a damper on it but you would play the Dogs in Melbourne

Have we ever beaten Essendon in Melbourne:confused:
I reckon well lose to them and the Aints and stitch up the Dogs = eighth

We haven't beaten Essendon in Melbourne before, but we haven't played them every year either (3 times in 7 seasons) so I don't think you can read too much into that.

I think we've faired pretty well against the saints over here of late, so I think we can win that one!

I didn't say we woouldn't, the team listed first is the winning team. We have no problems playing the Doggies in a Prelim in Melbourne, been there, done that.

crows will finish the minor round in 4th spot

Sydney are shot with a harder run home

Kanga's also have a harder draw

I am confident that the crows can get on a bit of a run and win at least 3 out of the last 4 games, this should be enough to grab 4th spot

Mate good luck for the rest of the year, but mate I would be fine playing you guys in a Prem in Final. Its been 10 years ago but we are all ready to get some cred back :)

WEEK 1 of THE FINALS

I've done my ladder predictions, but nothing is garunteed of course. We will finish 6th if we win 12 games (as I predict) and we are a good chance of snatching 8th spot with an 11-11 record as well. 13 wins is required for a 4th or 5th placed finish, but is unlikely due ot our tough run home. Finish 4th, we travel to play Geelong. A 6th placed finish and we are in serious danger of a home final againt Collingwood, our poor home record against the pies may show, especially if it a night game.

Can't see collingwood winning too many more games now.

It's very wishful thinking that we'll win the rest of our home and away games. Hate to be a sad sack, but we could easily lose all four.

That's hardly being a sad sack. The way the competition is at the moment, unless you are Geelong or Melbourne (or playing them), you can't realistically be pencilling in any game as a win or a loss, whether it be home or away.

All 4 games are very winnable, and also very loseable. We'd be starting favourites in 2 of them though.

I reckon we'll win all 4.

Richmond - we did smash them at the MCG playing 1.5 quarters of football just 8 weeks ago (my friend is still paying the speeding ticket he got on the way home from that game IN MY CAR), and being at AAMI we'll win this one.

Essendon - Essendon, with their excellent record over us in Melbourne, may slacken off, and we can take advantage of this by recording a win.

St Kilda - It depends which St Kilda turns up. If it's the one that beat Hawthorn then this may be a tough game. If it's the one that's lost to Port and West Coast this year then it'll be an easy win.

Western Bulldogs - If it wasn't for Nathan Bock, we would have beaten them in round 1. At home, we should beat them.

I was just messing around with a Ladder Predictor and figured out that the Crows worst possible position at the end of the minor round will now be 8th, and that is even with you guys losing all 3 remaining games.

I reckon your probable finish is now 6th

So credit where it's due, congratulations on making the finals.
