Relegation clauses would be pretty common. Geoginio is a weird one.

If you had have told me 12 months ago we'd make a profit on him I would have laughed at you.

Probably insisted by his management - otherwise he never would have signed with us.

Unfortunately relegation and failure to return at the first attempt means we will struggle to attract any decent talent.

Farke has had to endure two seasons where the squad has dramatically changed prior to the end of the first transfer window. The squad was thin last season and is even worse now. I do feel for him as he definitely has what it takes to achieve promotion but the squad is short on depth and quality.

The next ten days will define our season and I hope they can bring adequate replacements otherwise we may struggle to reach the top six.

That was a very strong performance on Saturday morning considering the significant international break playing load and our injuries. Tanaka and Rothwell really stood out with their work rate, positioning, passing efficiency and attacking play. Even though it’s a small squad we have a massive opportunity to finish the season in the autos. My concerns in the post above have been quashed.

I’d say it’s unlikely, but if the 49ers spend a shit load then who knows? Think out of the promoted teams we have the best chance.

You would think we need 8-10 signings at least and being rumoured with the likes of Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy isn’t going to cut it.

Rodon, Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Willy, DJ will all be ok in the PL. Outside of that it’s pretty grim.

I can’t say I know too much about most of the signings but I really like the acquisition of Sean Longstaff. He’s going to be a great addition to the side.
