Why?

They entered into the administration process properly and within the leagues guidelines.

Leeds didn't.

From what i understand I think you'll find that Bournemouth and Luton won't be able to complete a CVA because of the Inland Revenue, which in essence, was what Leeds were docked the 15 points for.

If the league don't penalise both clubs next seeason it is a case of double standards.

Well the difference is Luton and Bournemouth as of now haven't formed a new company.

Remember Leeds AFC are defunct.

The 15 point deduction wasn't applied to them, it was applied to the new company to allow them admittance into the league.

I wished this could have been dealt with much earlier, like we wanted, but the FL's stalling tactics forced it to be dragged out this late.

My understanding is the FL wanting this dealt with early, but it was Leed's lawyer Mark Taylor (I think that's his name) who was delaying the case, by refusing to make contact or ignoring the FL's attempts to make contact.

Well I suppose this decision sets the precedent for Rotherham to be docked 15 points as well?

Oh well, I wasn't really expecting to get anything back anyway. Agree with Catman, winning at Wembley would be bloody fantastic.

We better ____ing go up though, I can't imagine another year in league one!

But the league eventually sanctioned that ____ing piece of shit Bates bid to buy the club citing the "exceptional circumstance rules" which let you actually play the season and receive your golden share.

And yet you still think you are hard done by.

If you'd been Hereford you probably would have been booted back to the conference.

Don't blame the League (which had the full support of every other club).

Blame those who run your club.

this is all wrong, but jaymin stole my thunder..your leeds hatred getting in the way again. We entered into admin properly as well, as jaymin said, they cant complete a CVA, in these matters, the forming of the new company is not the issue. It was the issue of not leaving admin without a CVA. Apologies for the spelling, but id rather mispell than misplace the truth..

wrong..they wanted it to blow over and didnt expect it to go any further..nor shouldnt they as leeds signed an agreement saying they wouldnt take them to court. Leeds whole case was "this was signed under duress" as the FL werent going to give them the golden share. It was always going to be difficult to get them back, but leeds asked for arbitration back in september, the FL stalled, thinking it would get nowhere.

But why is it they shat themselves after we served the writ, they initially said we'd have no case, but low and behold as the process got further along, they begged for arbitration. We stupidly accepted, in hindsight we shouldve kept the legal proceedings.

But oh well, lets just hope for the playoffs

Setanta Sports used to broadcast the games. Not sure whether they still do.

On a Leeds forum there was a thread about tv coverage in Aus, seems Fox Sports have the rights but aren't chosing to show the games. Edit: Just saw Drewie's post in the matches on tv thread, more up to date than my info.

Bloody Football League is taking down all the videos on youtube too, another reason to hate them.

Saw the information below on another forum, it seems Setanta presumed fox sports had the rights. So if enough support is present they will telecast it in Australia as they are doing so in North America.

Calling all Leeds & Carlisle fans in Oz !!!

Contact Setanta - they are showing the playoff games in North America but thought that Fox sports had the rights for Oz. I spoke to Fox Sports and they confirmed they do not have the playoff rights for League 1 (only championship & permier lge games).

I've advised Setanta and if more people also ask for it, it may just happen.

i guess the best we can hope for, is that IF we make the finals, and thats a massive IF, we can arrange it to be shown

in other news, home leg just about a sell out, carlisle couldnt sell out their allocation of 2000, more tickets for us
A lot of leeds fans buying tickets in the home end for the away leg...
