Apparently the big Showunmi is absolutely terrible, tall big bodied striker who cant even win a header!

Others sound alot more promising!

I was talking to some Bristol city fans the other day and they both said that he was pretty good for them in league one. He is proberbly just taking a little bit of time to get settled at a new club.

a handy 5-2 win over chester in the carling cup
beckford with a hatrick, game was on sky over there, hopefully he hasnt pushed himself in the shop window too much with that performance
moomba did u see it? apparently we were impressive, even if it was chester
snodgrass and robinson the key down both flanks

No, was working but heard it was a decent performance (against very mediocre opposition though).

I'm surprised Beckford is still around, has there been any interest in him this summer?

Im watching it tonight with my mate who torrented it. So have a look around drewie

Snodgrass could be the signing of the season. He has the ability to play up front, but with our lack of width it's evident where he'll find himself this season. Doesn't appear that quick but has very good feet, good skills and excellent delivery.

From the highlights on LUTV I haven't seen a Leeds side pass the ball with precision and speed for years. Admittedly the opposition were by all reports woeful, but we looked good.

norwich were reportedly keen but turned their attentions elsewhere
also interest from sheff utd, but they went for henderson instead

what happened with this thread? I know Leeds are not exactly flying at the moment but I thought there would be some discussion.

Is there a new thread up I dont know about?

That's correct. Leeds and Bradford is a very funny rivalry though, that's if you could even call it a rivalry. Bradford fans seem to talk it up and think that themselves and Leeds are massive rivals when Bradford wouldn't even be a blip on the radar for Leeds.

It finished 5-2, with Both of Crewe's goals coming late in injury time. From an Aussie perspective it is good to see Neil Kilkenny is back in the starting lineup and he has started the last 4 matches. I thought the olympics were going to put him out of favour with the club, but thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case.

Nice to finally show some league form again, a bunch of fantastic goals too. Dissapointing to let the two in at the end, was less than impressed with Lucas' goalkeeping with the freekick.

nice 3-1 away win after going down to ten men after only 8 minutes
beckford is in great form currently, wonder if he'll keep it up..
busy few weeks coming up with carling cup and JPT going on

at the start of the season we had probably the leagues best three CB's in huntington, michalik and marques, yet at the age of 35 Paul Telfer has been the steady dependable one who seems to be holding the back 4 together

Very impressive result at Carlisle.

Will finish 2-0 with Becchio and Beckford scoring.

Will have us sitting in 2nd. :thumbsu:

Outstanding win. After the sluggish start we've hit top form over the last few weeks with all the big guns firing. Beckford can't stop scoring while Becchio appears to be an absolute steal considering we signed him on a free transfer.

Up next in the league is bottom-placed Hereford at home. Before that we've got the Carling Cup tie against Hartlepool, also at home.

apparently we paid around 65,000 euros, and he was reccomended by a friend of our scout

Looks like you'll be facing a 10 man Brighton this weekend(at least for 85 mins).

And one of your lads will get carried off on a stretcher.

Robbie Savage just signed for them :D
