Was mentioned on the club site that an Aussie defender is trialing atm. Could it be Stefanutto? Someone also suggested Topor-Stanley on another forum, surely not!
Anyway, no Beckford for the next three might test us, thankfully we've got the bottom two after Huddersfield tonight.

Yeah, it has been confirmed on au.fourfourtwo.com that it was Topor-Stanley on trial.

Away to Hereford tomorrow morning. This game was rescheduled from about a month ago due to the wild weather. They are struggling in the relegation zone so we SHOULD win, but it won't be easy as we're missing Beckford and they are playing their cup final in front of what will no doubt be a sell out crowd.

I'm worried about this one. I'll take a scrappy one goal win happily.

By the sounds of things we were very unlucky not to get something out of the Huddersfield game. Their keeper was named M.O.M, which is all you need to know.

What do you know, another loss to a crap team. Been a bit of a reality check the last two games, even playoffs will be hard to achieve.

What I'm most worried about is if we don't get promoted once again, Beckford and Delph might decide to move on.

And who could blame them?

An absolute disgrace from all reports but not in the least surprising. Despite missing Beckford, the 11 that took the field should have had no problems beating Hereford. I like Grayson and he has certainly steadied the ship but he's only been in the job for under two months, so he escapes any criticism at the moment. It's about time the players accepted some responsibility and extracted the digit. Despite us being in League 1, it's the same story as our last few seasons in the EPL - too many players coasting on good money, with no pride in their performance or a care about the club they are playing for. This has to change.

Grayson was apparently fuming after the match. Whether this results in shock dumpings or is just a lot of hot air, we'll have to wait and see.

2-0 win on the weeken, Jonny Howson with a second half brace. 1 point behind Millwall in the playoff places. If we can get a bit of consistency together then making the playoffs shouldnt be a problem.

How the hell does Blue Square rubbish get on Fox/ Setanta and Leeds doesn't? Are we allowed to PM links to each other on here for live steaming? Surely it wont be too hard to find a live streaming anyway.

The reason Blue Square gets on is because its seperate to the Football League. When the FL sells the tv rights it covers championship, League 1 and League 2. Setanta hold the rights to Blue Square and Fox Sports holds the Premiership and Football League.

Millwall have 2 games in hand though. We are going to need other play-off contenders to slip up a bit as well as starting to perform ourselves. The good news is Beckford's suspension is over now. But unfortunately with Dickinson back at Stoke we have to settle for mediocre left backs once more.

Never thought Dickinson was that good to be honest. Didn't really have an impact on the side.

Aidy White sounds very exciting but is still young and has a bit to learn. Is injured too last i heard so he probably won't play for a while but Parker i think is a good player, better than Sheehan anyway. Give Parker a few games at LB and he'll come good, esp with somebody like Naylor playing inside him.

Millwall are struggling lately though. No wins from their last 5 games. Their trip to Cheltenham tomorrow morning could be a little tricky.

Scampaignerhorpe have lost their last two, but they also have two games in hand. It's a big game for us against them on the weekend.

Alot of the teams above us have been faltering of late, but we really havent taken advantage of it.

A good finish to the season should see us make play offs though - from there its in our hands again.

if we can start stringing results together like we did in september then there is no reason why we cant make the playoffs. We're 6 points from third so its bound to be a tight finish. The equation is simple, keep winning and the rest will stumble.

PS, get Kilkenny in the side. We are a winning side more often than not with him in midfield

Well agree to disagree I suppose. I saw Dickinson a few times and was pretty impressed. He was very solid there after Carlisle chopped us up down the left when Sheahan was there. Parker looks a bit raw to me, and is probably better suited to centre half. He will do for the time being.

No Kandol no Millwall :D

I'd like to see more Kilkenny, but at the expense of whom? Certainly not Delph. Snodgrass and Robinson have been good lately, and I don't think he can play Douglas' role. Then there is Howson in front of him. Certainly prefer him to Johnson at the moment.

Its a tough call to make, one i'd happily leave to Grayson

But if i was to make the call i'd probably play 4 CM's and Snodgrass up front, maybe shadowing Beckford.

Ankergren

Douglas Naylor Michalik Parker

Delph

Kilkenny Howson

Robinson

Snodgrass
Beckford

Nothing against Becchio, he has been a good player but i think he could maybe do with a rest. Would make a great impact player off the bench.

I don't see much due to a loack of coverage here but when i've listened to games we seem to lack any decent width in the side. At least with 4 in the middle we can play to our strengths

I can understand what your saying about Parker, i agree to an extent. There have been times he's filled in at LB and seemed to do a good job. As i said before, give him a few games in a row. With a bit of a run in the side and the experience of Naylor now at the club it could bring out the best in him

Wins for Peterborough and Millwall, losses for Scampaignerhorpe and Oldham today. Saturday is going to be massive for the playoff contenders, with a win over the Scunners we could take 5th spot. Then Monday against Oldham will also be vital, they've been looking shaky but you'd be brave to back us away to anyone!

Also, Topor Stanley has returned to Australia thank god. :p

We're on telly again! :thumbsu:

Some massive games here against Scampaignerhorpe. Millwall play Oldham, and then on Monday we play Oldham. After Monday we need to be back in the 6.

Beckford puts us 1-0 up, and into the 6! Hopefully we can stay there, so far the other results are going our way too which helps. Bad news is Robinson off injured.

It does give Howson, Johnson and Kilkenny, none of whom in our best XI, a chance to show what they've got. Will probably all play again on Monday too.

It finished 3-2 and we've moved to sixth. Beckford completed yet another double while Johnson added one late in the first half.

We were 2-0 up only for Scampaignerhorpe to equalise but we rallied which was the important thing as we've failed to do that on regular occasions this season.

Another massive game on Monday night against Oldham. A win will move us past them and keep our slim hopes of automatic promotion alive.

Howson sent off late too, very nervous final moments - we sure don't like doing it easy. Would have been nice if the Foxes had knocked off the Dons too. We may as well target 2nd spot on the table.

Conceeded a soft goal early in the first half with Ankergren having one go through his legs. Minutes later Becchio missed a good chance, before converting the corner immediately following with a good header. Not a terrible result considering our poor away record, but again we were clearly the better side and wasted several good chances.

Hopefully we get some favourable results tomorrow night.
