I knew we would turn to shit after beating Scum. And as awesome as that night was, it means absolutely stuff all if we can't keep it going in the League. It is the only thing that matters. It's a shame that this stupid Trohpy is played over 2 legs as it would be nice to be done with that too.

What is going on?

If this FA Cup run is going to hamper our promotion run then put the kids out against Spurs next week because promotion is far more important than a winning streak in a tournament we're not going to win.

As for Grayson naming an unchanged side after the Spurs game. WTF? We saw against Wycombe that they couldn't back up and to not rest some players after a very busy schedule is crazy.

Prutton would have been ideal to have got a game, yet he goes on loan to a rival and scores to top off a shit night.

Colchester at home all of a sudden takes on massive importance. 3 pts is a must.

We have forked out significant cash to sign up Gradel to basically be a permanent sub. Robinson didn't come cheap and has hardly got a game in months. Grella, White and Kandol are others who would benefit from starting occasionally. And where on earth is Marques? Michalik is putrid, so hopefully we don't have to suffer him again.

As much as I love seeing Leeds on TV and mixing it with England's big clubs again, it is all for nothing if we don't get promoted. Fix this shit Grayson.

Rui is in Africa for the Cup of Nations with Angola.
Yeah he's there now, but has he played a single game for us all year?

In other news, we have made a couple of excellent loan signings. Gary McSheffery from Brum for the rest of the season, and another Aussie(!!!) in Shane Lowry from Villa. The latter is yet to be confirmed by the club though.

Some much needed fresh faces. Hopefully more to come.

Yep, he sure is. Our best deal in the transfer window could be keeping him until the end of the season.

Both new signings played well, McSheffrey adds something we lack - a genuine wing option and from all reports Lowry was very composed until he cramped up late in the game.

Good to see a few players missing with 'injuries', allowing some rotation to occur in the team.

Unfortunately Norwich got lucky again, coming back from another goal down to win, or else it would have been a perfect day.

It was nice while it lasted but no point dwelling on it. Time to reclaim first spot in the league and build a gap between us and Charlton.

Some good performances from the likes of Casper, Beckford and happily Becchio, hopefully we'll get Kisnorbo back for Saturday too.

Missed him and Killa big time. If Michalik's only use is to play on Crouch then he can piss off right now. Not sure why we kept him and got rid of Huntington. I hope we send out the reserves for the Carlisle game next week too, no need for that rubbish tiring us out.

Defensively Michalik was very ordinary, at least he created a couple of chances in attack. Can claim a small modicum of credit for the goal.
Becchio was very good, glad to see him playing some good football again after time off.
Casper is a star :)
Snodgrass's first half was fantastic, but we frankly barely touched it in the second half, so he went missing a bit.

Agree, good while it lasted, but promotion is and was always the most important thing for us. What the FA Cup has shown us is that we can mix it with the big boys, and that we should be playing higher up the divisions. Let's do this!

Agree with all of the above posts.

With such a punishing schedule coming up (13 games in 42 days) we really didn't need another fixture with the potential to turn into a two-leg tie, as nice as it would have been had we got through.

Another game, another single point, surely with three home games we can put this run to rest. Please get over your injury Kisnorbo, seems like it's been ages since we've kept a clean sheet.

Anyone else catch the jpt match last week? Took me until the last 10 minutes to find a proper stream, seemed like it was going to be another miracle at Carlisle, but I suppose if you're going to go out on penalties, this comp is the best way to do it!

At least in past years there seemed to be explanations behind the form slumps - Wise and Poyet departing, dressing room issues and Staunton etc. But it really seemed as if we'd found the perfect formula and the right squad under SG. Hard to comprehend how it's fallen apart so quickly...

Tell you what the atmosphere has changed during the last few home games, we are no longer singing about promotion. Walsall game has been worst game I have ever been too.

Good feeling about tomorrow night against Oldham...though I had that against Brighton too.

Need to win tonight big time.

Damn straight. To have just 1pt from a possible 6 from the first two games of this three home game stretch is unacceptable.

We should have been looking at three straight wins. We're now relying on a win against struggling Oldham to provide some respectability.
