Would you want to get this guy at richmond, seems to be struggling a bit at the roo's becuase he keeps getting shifted around the ground all the time, if we are going to keep gaspar i think we should try get brown, he shouldnt cost too much and he could take Ray Halls spot and allow us to develope thursfield a bit more without having to go straight onto the big name players

if the roos get rid of him then they might as well, pack it all in and fold.

I remember he was touted as our likely pick when Beck bumbled and selected Fiora.instead..never really rated him, too slow to ever be a gun backman..thats why the roos shift him all over the place from FF to ruck to avoid playing on the gorilla FF that would chop him up like liver...where would he be of any use to us?

Has better skills than hall, doesnt concede as many goals as hall does, last year for the first 6 or so rounds brown was on fire, he can play on the likes of gerhig, fevola etc, and he could allways be used as a backup ruckman or even a pinch hit forward incase of injury, at the moment if richo breaks down next year we have to rely on blokes like hughes, schulz, limbach etc to carry the forward line, this year we have had to have an out of form stafford as our FF, we have had to have ray hall our main full back, joel bowden a chb and full back, pat bowden a chb/ play in the backline

Yep. We need to be setting our sights a bit higher than "better than Ray Hall".

Yeah I've been thinking bout this as well.

I quite like Leigh Brown. From memory he was a #5 draft pick, but he's never really clicked.

I wouldn't mind having a crack for him. Would be a risk but at 24/25 next season he'd be worth it. Good, mature size. Key defender.

Could be another success, ie. Pat Bowden.

I'd go as far as to give a 2nd round draft pick for Brown.

If we are going to trade for a mature aged player I'd rather him over Aka (would cost too much to get, ie. first round pick) or Gardiner.

That said I'd prefer we go after Polak. Long term CHB written all over him.

Well of course they would! But why would Richmond?

Leigh Brown is a peanut. An absolute peanut. He offers nothing, is lazy, overweight and a terrible decision maker.

The next team he should play for is in the VFL.

Barely worth Krakouer. Barely.

Not to mention the HEART! Sorry for encroaching on your board, but I really hate Leigh Brown (Stems from an ex girlfriend finding him extremely attractive )

Perry is a much better defender than Brown already, and he has a mountain of improvement still left in him. Laidley doesn't seem to be a fan for some reason, whilst he would not drop Brown no matter how poorly he plays.

You would have to be pretty desperate for key defenders if you're after Brown. Krakouer for Brown would do me. But Laidley rates him so high he will no doubt want Richmond's first pick.

Perry should not be traded, but it kills me to say - it wouldn't surprise me to see Laidley do it anyway. He would be a tremendous get.

If another club rates Hyde higher than Krakouer, we should be looking to deal with them. Because they obviously have NFI.
