I hear rumblings from my contacts in Qld that all is not perfect in the lions camp. apparently leigh matthews is not happy with some of the board who think he has gotten big headed. They think Gary O'Donnel is good enough to take over and would save them money and give them more control of the club. Miller is currently talking to him and apparently Matthews sees bringing richmond to a premiership would be the icing on the cake to coaching immortality. Watch this space.

Haha. Reminds me of what a mate told me once. He was working for the Swans and told me how some of the players and officials would make up stories and "leak" them, just so they could get a laugh when the "leak" ended up in the media. Given the number of reliable or club sources that get quoted on mesage boards and in the press, I think this must be fairly common practice at most clubs.

aparently i hear that if wallace gets the job he will be in the ears of some of the western bulldogs best players to join him at punt road. i cant name names here but one rhymes with hurphey and the other rhymes with marcy. apparently they are going to demand to be traded to richmond and plough has some really good blackmail to use on the western bulldogs heirarchy so we will be getting them really cheap, like for simon fletcher and a packet of tim tams or something.
