It seemed to me that in the second half the coaching staff seemed to let the game drift thinking that we would hold on which didnt happen!

When we where getting smashed in the middle and around the stoppages why didnt they throw Hurn, Nicoski, Masten Or even Lecras seeing as tarrant was all over him In there? Im sure it couldnt have done to much damage and one of them might have given us that spark we needed to get over the line!

They could have even thrown Brown, mackenzie or even glass foward Im sure they would have managed to take a mark inside 50 unlike hansen and co.

All im trying to say is that when things arents going are way why not try sumthing different, be creative and try to swing the momentum back are way.
We have a good coaching staff but i think this is a big area that they need to work on!

Hindsight is a wonderfull thing, just ask Malthouse on Anzac day.

The buck ends with the players on this one, you can throw players around but if they dont respond your not going to get jack. Id love to see our tackle count difference between the first and second half.

I think the word you are looking for is OUR its going our way and momentum back our way.

I swear to god english teachers these days need a kick in the arse. And while I'm at it 60% of posters on here need to learn the difference between then and than. So and so is better than X not better then X

What frustrates me the most is the fact that Stephen Dodd, one of the biggest hacks in the game, completely out pointed our starting CHF. All 199cm and 98kg of him. That, is soft as it comes.

Secondly, I know Woosh has faith in his charges, but his use of Staker is very questionable. The bloke's shown he can do some damage in the middle when given a licence to run and find his own footy, yet for the last two weeks he's been playing as a tagger.

He's got some of the best skills by foot to a leading target, has pace and a big body yet we use him defensively????

Hehehe. I'm with you on this one. But I have already accepted that most people can't spell and don't know jackshit of English grammar.

For example, so may people write "should of" instead of "should have" or at least "should've", without realising that what they write makes no grammatical sense.

Cheers.

There is not much you can do with the current one-dimensional midfield. It is not a pacy, gut running set-up and is always going to struggle once the game opens up.

Most of our good form has been built upon the zone, backed up by a strong defense with excellent discipline. Basically what we have is an innability to go to another gear when required (because of personnell).

The gameday coaching is irrelevant when you consider this.

Woosha's coaching was not without fault but it simply looked like we came out after half time, thought the game was in the bag and went through the motions.

Freo were far more desperate and just wanted it more. That is on the players for serving up such a sh!t effort in such an important game.
