Injury Levi Injury?

Sorry to start a thread for a basic question but couldn't find anything elsewhere.

Does anyone know how serious Levi's injury is? It happened in the 2s on Saturday. I am hoping to see him get a run for Carlton this year.

He's still a very raw player, and it would be something for him to make his debut for Carlton this year. Still alot of water to go under the bridge before he plays at the highest level.

This is true. Just hoping he gets maybe a couple of games taste.

I hope he doesn't get a game late in the season.

That would mean we are either way out of finals contention or one of our better KP forwards are out injured - neither which are desireable outcomes.

I hate the obsession some supporters have with getting games into young kids right from the get go. If they are ready, then let them push for selection, but if they aren't, there's no point playing them.

I'd be very surprised if Levi got a game this season.

Its not an obsession. Just a litle selfish on my behalf, living interstate I dont get to see the development of our youngsters. Having said that I wouldnt want him playing if he isnt ready either. Notice I said hoping to see him which implies he would be ready.

Was matched up on Joe Anderson, who is alot smaller than Levi. As J said, if he is getting a game, it would mean our KPF's are either injured, or well and truly out of form.

Hopefully this turns out to be a case of 'no news is good news'.

My previous post may have come accross a little harsh - of course I wish Levi all the very best and hope he has a blinder of a year in the Bullants. Just don't want him in the senior Carlton side any time soon.

Hopefully he's OK and continues to develop nicely, and if he is injured, hopefully it's nothing too serious and he's back out on the park sooner rather than later.
