Agree on Frasers game tonight. He was absolutely terrible tonight. You could just see the game change momentum when he was in the ruck - we got smashed in the clearances.

But sh!t man - early retirement!!! are you stoned??? More like second game blues. Give the man a chance. We'll need him as a second ruck in the finals - his best is so much better than that.

He seemed really tired - couldn't run to a contest in the second half. A few electric shocks during the week should get him going again.

If MM wanted to be really brave he'd drop Fraser for Rocca. If all Fraser is going to do is rot away in the forward line and let Wood do all the ruckwork, you may as well replace him with the best power forward this club has ever had. Rocca Cloke and Leroy could share the 2nd ruck duties.

I didn't think he was that great last night but over the year has done some great jobs. His most important job will come on Sunday when he will get Milne or Schneider, both have to be stopped. I think he would suit Schneider as he can follow him up field and stop his run & delivery to the big fellas.

Id have Dawes in as the extra forward before Rocca.

Not sure Rocca would give us much at all to be honest, at his age and in his current condition and form.

Nothing to do with sentiment. I think Rocca would cause more trouble to the opposition than either of our other choices up forward - Wood, Fraser, Dawes, N Brown, etc. As a strong target he would free up Anthony and Cloke to take a lesser quality defender. Dawes doesnt really have that presence at his early age, nor does he have the same potential to take a few strong grabs and kick goals at crucial moments like Rocca has done many times over the years.

His form is as good as can be in the VFL, except for some dodgy kicking for goal. You have to remember also that he's played pretty well in some exceptionally poor weather conditions over the past month. I dont think fitness or form of Rocca will be an issue. The issue will be team balance.

In any case, there IS room for sentiment. Sentiment is the reason MM wont be dropping Josh Fraser. His fitness and form is far inferior to Rocca's but MM has brought him straight back into the side anyway.

I am sorry to sound like a broken record, but Collingwood will not win a flag whilst Johnson gets a game, will not man up and will not chase as shown yesterday when he left Fraser to chase eagleton. I believe O'Bree will again be a liability in big games. Disagree with comments re Toovey and Wellingham thought both were reasonable yesterday, especially Toovey

Yeah that was pretty bad, neither of them were going to catch him but BJ should have chased.
On that piece of play what was Toovey doing? Eagleton can kick it on the run from 60 so I didn't see the point of him running to gaurd the square. He wouldn't have even been in a position to stop Johno had eagleton passed it, he was just running in no mans land. Other than that he played okay though.

I'm praying they don't bring back Rocca. Just isn't a place for him anymore.
