I thought let Liam have a full season in the VFL playing his new role before any further comments regarding his tenure at the club.

I’ve watched most of his games whether live or replays and have come away with a pleasant surprise. The one thing that I really enjoyed were his foot skills. His hit up and especially his penetration with his kicks was something that would definitely be a facet for the AFL. I also liked his attitude. He has those go go Gadget arms and can enact a spoil from a lot of unconventional and unexpected spots.

He still has a lot of further development. And definitely needs more weight. If he is to be used in the AFL as a KPB. He must learn how to hold down an opponent. As at the moment he is too loose and gets beaten too easily.

I was a little concerned that he wasn’t going to be around at years end. But I do have to say that he has well and truly elevated himself ahead of many others.

Well done young man. Keep things moving forward.

If the season had a few more rds I think he may of debuted this season but it is a little too late to throw him in now but his is getting closer and no longer looks like he wont make it and TBH I think Kelly is waking up to the fact Liam is going past him and may have to pull his finger out if he wants to stay.

I think our KPP are looking much better towards the end of the season than they were at the Start and we have seen nothing of Dean and very little of Krueger plus Begg who is too small for ruck, what would be ideal is if Faye could somehow come on because he certainly is ruckman sized and athletic with it.

Getting back to Liam I think he is a very good chance of making it better than 50 50 now if he gets 5kg on he could almost play KB.

Agree on the gadget arms. Dustin Fletcher and to a lesser extent Presti had this trait and it paid off for them.

Where is this talk about Liam coming from he definitely a required player I would rather lose Henry than Liam, I posted a month ago that I thought he was getting closer to a debut and his last month was not bad.

One more pre season and 5kg and he could be tried then down back we need a bit of extra height down there and is still only 20 I really think this boy can make it and I would hate to see him elsewhere playing well the same with Henry.
