Why? He knew what he was doing and what the result would be. I don't think there will be drive by shootings NRL style or law suits. In the end of the day has our club been tarnished because a guy that was never one of us is bitter because he is out of a gig and wants his pound of flesh?

He said Thornton went under the knife for no reason - that is undermining the integrity of a doctor - therefore saying the doctor is guilty of malpractice. Defamy, whatever you want to call it.
He's also slandered the club and its staff. Magazines get sued for slandering and 'alleging without proof' of celebrity dirt all the time - it happens all the time and can happen here.
I'm not a big fan of petty legal battles, I'd actually rather we didn't persue it but it can be done.
