Lids across Half Back

I know everyone is keen for Lids to move into the midfield, but watching last nights Crows/Swannies game, I couldn't help but draw a comparison with the way Lids is starting to play across HB, and the way McLeod does.

Now obviously Lids has some time to go before he's in McLeod's league, but I can see that in 1-2 years he, and eventually we hope JON, will be streaming through the centre square, continually setting up attack after attack like McLeod did last night.

Worth sticking with I reckon.

Totally agree with you Turtle. Lids has proven when he gos into the middle that he struggles to get the ball at this stage of his career. He can become a dominant player in the league by the end of THIS year at half back, not so in the middle. We have to stop comparing him to Judd. He is a once in a generation player and his team mates work for him in a way that would take 10 years to instill at Richmond.
