I normally detest bands such as Linkin Park, but I must admit I really enjoy their music.

Some of their best songs are:

* Numb
* In the End
* Breaking the Habit
* From the Inside
* Runaway

Thoughts on Linkin Park?

From what I've heard of their stuff, the guitar riffs sound suspiciously like Meantime-era Helmet to me.

I was really into them but lost interest after they did all that stuff with Jay-Z or whatever the guys name was.

More to the point, Jay-Z lost all respect and credibility when he stood on stage with these try-hards.

thats cute.

Jay Z has since produced an album by fort minor (a mike shinoda side project - mike shinoda being linkin parks rapper) which is a big hit, in the non-commercial way.

Perhaps you should listen to their song cigarettes (i assume thats the title - its track 9 on fort minor - the rising tied), you'll probably relate to it.

The linkin park/jay Z collaboration was great because it introduced me to Jay Z, who I now really like.

Also, I love linkin park. As needy as the lyrics are, the music is so full of energy it makes me feel awesome.

Tell ya what else is funny, I'd heard of Linkin Park before, but never really liked them that much, after the jay-z collaboration I ended up getting into their stuff a lot more, Shinoda's album is quite decent.

Jay is the greatest.

Don't like Linkin Park's songs much, especially the ones from their 2nd album. But the collaboration with Jay-Z really improved some of their existing songs.

I should check out Mike Shinoda's album. I always thought he was a better singer than Chester Bennington anyway, so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with.

Helmet are much better, son. ;)

Trivium will be the biggest metal band on earth in 2 years, bookmark it.

Linkin park = try hard w******

I enjoyed Linkin Park's album - the Hydrid Theory mainly due to the fact that i needed angry music after having heart torn in two by stupid mole witch.

Probably enjoyed their music due to my state of mind at the time - haven't really given them much thought since.

Love Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory is one of my favourite albums of all time.

I got the Fort Minor Album too and that is pretty damn good too.. Some of its a bit too rappy for my tastes but the beats are excellent. Remember the name, Believe Me and High Road are just awesome songs. Most of the others are pretty good too.

Linkin Parks new album will be out later this year
