Hey guys, it’s been a massive end to the year and we are wondering how everyone is feeling about this little corner of BigFooty.

It seems like we have had more new posters here in the past few months than we have for the past few years and it feels like the demographic of the board has evened out a bit.

How are the new people feeling about the board, how are the old people feeling about the new people?

What do you like/dislike about the place?

What can the mods do better?

I like the board and think it is run well. However I think more people should be allowed accesss to the Lions only board as it is far to strict to get in for some people. Get people in and emlimnate anyone that is a troll from another board. There are people sitting out the front door not being allowed in like me and a few other people who can go down to training and take some pics and add alot to that part of the board

The board of the Brisbane Lions are pathetic pricks.

The Brisbane Lions board on bigfooty on the other hand, is a reasonably pleasant place to visit most of the time.

The Brisbane Lions board on bigfooty on the other hand, is a reasonably pleasant place to visit most of the time.

My feedback is that we are far too welcoming of Collingwood supporters then

Amen, brother.

I joined a year ago and have enjoyed it immensely. Not living in either Brisbane or Melbourne it is difficult to be 'part' of it. That feeling has gone. Although I have never met any of the posters I feel like you are all friends. Thankyou all for being so welcoming.

To feel I can contribute to an insightful, knowledgeable and unbiased discussion on all things Lions and football is also another highlight for me. All done with a touch of tounge in cheek humour of.

As one who tried to get to the ressies every time I am in Brissie as I love following the recruits, special thanks to those that report - and post pictures - of both their games and Lions training.

And any time I want to waste an hour, and get a few LMFAO's, Bay 13 has enriched my life.

Thanks to Weevil and a few others who played a hand in getting me back onto BigFooty. With no hyperbole, this place has actually played a massive role in my life and I'm rapt to be back.

As for this board, well, the Wicked Witch of the Westinghouse and her acolytes no longer run the show, so it's all good.

As I have said a few times, I know absolutely nothing about the above-mentioned events that happened a long time go in a galaxy far, far away. Nor do I want to.

It’s a very old dispute between 2 people neither of which I have any problem with at all.

For the sake of transparency I’ll leave Rip’s comments up. But from what I gather neither side would have terribly complementary things to say about each other.

This stuff all happened a million years ago, I reckon everyone involved should move it along.

I think the private Lions forum is a good idea, a bit like a forum of a normal football club where the players can talk tactics, teams are listed and just general stuff that shouldnt be seen by outsiders.

The moderators are doing a good job with the management of the board, I've been very happy with it. We've had a lot of good discussions for various matters over the year and any ********s were thrown out but at the same time, constructive argument was allowed.

I really cant think of anything negative about the board at this stage.

It is all good, except for that Weevil fella. He's just no good.

Seriously though, I appreciate the effort the mods put in maintaining the relatively convivial tone of this forum, despite often disparate opinions and the efforts of non-lions supporters.

My major concern is that we haven't won a flag under the leadership of our forum moderators, i am assuming we need a major turnover of our mods ala Vossy to our list.


Here are a few suggestions

Lionshine- i reckon he would be tinny

Mr Ripper- He is thorough and experienced

Finally i think Campbell- Controversial, banned but not Andrew Lovett style banned

I gotta say that I am really proud of the way the board has hung together this year.

Given the events of the off season, I don’t know of any other board on BigFooty that could have kept its cool the way we have.
