Exactly. Try means to try something out. How that relates to gaining points is beyond me. Then again, they are a bunch of brickheads so it doesn't surprise me.A 'try' is something without success??
This is the same argument as league people saying all you have to do is kick the ball through the sticks, and you get a point for missing. What kind of game gives you a point for missing? I hear this every other day, it's annoying, but kinda right
I'd rather a point for missing than to score points by getting a "try". 1 point in the context of an AFL game is typically not a big deal, so why not get a point for missing?
