Okay the shit has hit the fan and we are going to face some possible hurdles with the Tippett saga. He is now gone and we have received nothing for him. So looking towards next season Big Lewie is going to have to stand up and given a shot at holding down CHF. If he does stand up he could offer a really good option and give a two prong attack with Walker. Brown should be given the shot at Doggas position and Crouch can start off the bench. Also Hendo needs to play a Gunston role for us in the forward line.
If this can happen we should be in as good a position as were this year.
Ottens needs to play well and if we don't loose any picks we could grab Menzel or Colhouqn from centrals.

Does this really warrant a thread?

I think it does. We've pretty much spent the last three weeks on a rollercoaster, which subsequently crashed in flames all over the administration of the club. It's probably a good thing that we have a thread where we can not talk about 'he who shall not be named', in the Post-Voldemort environment.

Who will be our new full-forward?

Smack - is his head up to the challenge?
Johnston - can he take his SANFL form to the AFL?
Jenkins - can he learn the position quick enough?
Graham - total absolute dark horse, but two years ago he was going to be Sydney's FF?

I mean we already have several threads with this exact topic/focus on specific players on the first two pages of our board.

I would have Walker leading out from the goal square and have Lewis at CHF. I would then have Hendo comming of the half forward flank or out of a pocket. He has speed, can mark and kick a good goal.
Smack and Jenkins are back ups in my mind and are not first 22 material (Please prove me wrong next years guys, would be more than happy to be wrong on this)

Do we? I haven't looked at anything but the Tippett thread for the last three weeks.

So... what have you been up to?

I agree. Allows us to utilise Johnstons great kicking...

You'd think so. Lots of pre-season needs to be dedicated to teaching him how to lead, and double back, into our structures.

He would be the perfect 3rd tall, only needing a few shots a game to make an impact

Yes after the pain of the last few weeks, I have absolute confidence Sando will already be thinking out how to get the best out of our list - which has great depth and ready made talent. Give some of these kids a good pre-season to gain some confidence, a solid run in the NAB Cup (gee never thought I'd find a use for that!!! LOL!!!) and I can't wait for the start of next season - well done Cleric - time to move on... :)

Tex ain't so bad either.
No clearly he is a great kick... But when you've got Johnston able to pick the bones out of a pass from 50 away, I'm happy with tex's ability to take the contested grab and slot it...
