it is great to watch. there is nothing the opposition can do but watch. it will be good when he gets the confidence to have shots at goal from 50m out on the run

an awesome sight seeing him carry the ball today and his kicking improves with each game - reminds me more of a young Mcleod. the guys gonna be a star

He could turn out to be like Judd in every way, he was everywhere and never looked like being caught.

he was in my votes today...great game...still a bit hit/miss with his disposal when hes running hard...but geez he looked goood:thumbsu:

Please... don't be like those stupid one-eye supporters, you just make us look stupid.

He played a good game today but do not ever compare him to Chris Judd.

Lets hope he can keep up the good work thoug h:thumbsu:

Hit some very good targets while running at full pace yesterday, uses his left as well as his right foot a lot of the time, damn good game. Even looked over his shoulder at one stage and almost arrogantly hit another gear.

Yep, the flow-on effect of certain ins has been very pleasing thus far.

Michael not only injected a big, strong full back, but has released Fletcher who has flourished. Lloyd has also given the whole forwardline/half forward line a different look, as well as ensuring Lucas can be isolated when matchups present themselves. Davey and Jetta, aside from their obvious pluses, has allowed Monfries to play more up the ground, and of course Lovett as well.

Lovett seems to have his head about him this season, and from all reports had a great pre-season and this is showing in two pretty good performances, rotating through the midfield.

Now we just need him to slowly improve, which I have no doubt he will. If we can get Andrew to the level of 20-25 touches consisently, instead of the 13 or so yesterday, we will be in very good shape, because he can use the ball when on, but his speed and line breaking ability is top shelf. Basically, he is an impact player - when he gets it, something generally happens.

It's certainly adding a lot more drama to the midfield than we've had for years. I can't remember centre breaks or rebounds from half-back working as effectively as this past fortnight, but we will soon lose the element of surprise as opposition coaches start to realise what Jetta, Davey and Lovett are doing. Can they do anything to change it? Probably not.. certainly not Carlton:D

Excuse me, but he played exactly the way Judd goes about his game....grabbed it, took on several opponents through the middle at a time and aside from that one poor kick when he over committed himself, delivered the ball into our forward line. How do you think Judd earns his bread and butter each week...doing the exact same thing, only with more goals to his name. There is no reason why he cant advance another level in his football. I think its ignorant supporters like you that make us look stupid.

Try having your own opinion without worrying about what opposition supporters think, sheep.

As much as Lovett has improved this year and hopefully will continue to do so, he is a different player than Judd.

The biggest thing i think sets Judd apart from others is his ability to win the close in ball and break tackles while still motoring forward.
He has this ability to 'shake' the opponants, like Harvey does, and then explodes.

Lets just be happy with Lovett and hope he keeps improving.

There is only 1 Judd.....

Granted, however he does display all the attributes that would suggest he could be anybody.Yesterday, he showed us how hard it is to actually catch him.
