Horrible, horrible news. You don't want to hear about this news about anyone, but when I read the headlines about a Canucks youngster dying I immediately thought "Please not Bourdon."

I was in Vancouver for the World Junior Champs in 06 and he was already drafted into the Canucks system and was a local boy too, so he was obviously very popular. Just tragic, tragic news.

It's really hard to fathom that a young player like Bourdon who was just at the start of his NHL career could be gone forever.
