I reckon he'd be leading our b&f atm, been superb.

If he's averaging 25 possessions and a goal a game as well as the 2nd most tackles in the league there's not many more levels to go. That's rarefied air for a mid as it is.
Yeah no doubt if he keeps that up we'd be absolutely rapt but I honestly reckon he still has some upside. If he gets a bit more composure and becomes a little more dangerous with his disposal by foot and/or starts heavily hitting the scoreboard like we know he's capable of, well he goes to another level IMO.

Spot on , it's only his kicking that will prevent him from becoming an A grader.

I think in week 2 one of the commentators said "Dalhaus just isn't impacting games enough, he needs to become more consistent". What a bourke.

He is so quick and getting in and under and his boot to the ball, other players can't do that. So sure disposal can be iffy yet I'll take if because others palyer can't get in there so quick and get it to boot.

Thats is is value to the club. Have a look at how many times with get goals through Dalhaus, must be leading our score assists.

commentators don't call what they're seeing they call what "the general footy bloke rhetoric" thinks they've seen. Then a player has a good game and the rhetoric changes.

It's why players get overrated and underrated, once a decisions made the lazy journos just go with it.

In the case of bontempelli it'll work for us, he'll be overrated because people will big up his handballs.

Dahlhaus case was written as a "pocket rocket, small forward" although he can play midfield, high half forward, is a contested ball beast, good overhead and is tracking to be an elite player.

As we've seen with Boyd playing on the inside plays havoc with your foot skills unless your name is Tom Liberatore. The fact that Haus is working so damn hard will always result in some tired kicking/disposal, but he's hitting the scoreboard and setting up plenty of play. I'd actually like to see him getting a bit more easy ball on the outside once Wally returns.

Been around for a few years.
Dreads are gone (less noticeable)
Boyd/Bonti/String/Macrae are all players the media prefer to talk about

Now Dahl's just become another good player in our side, think someone like James Kelly or Luke Parker.

Fantastic use of the word berk (the spelling slightly off, but absolutely fantastic word - made me chuckle!)
Damn. Next time I will know!

He's added a layer to his game I wasn't sure he could.

Work rate is amazing - and he is one who seems to be thriving under Beveridge's game plan.

If the ball is in his vicinity he doesn't lose. He breaks even or wins. He can make something out of nothing, fights everything out.

Compare that to a couple of half forwards in the team last year and its not that hard to see why we are rising.
Bang on

Have always liked Dahlhaus but never thought he would become that Ablett like superstar that some commentators called early on. He has taken it up a notch this season. His kicks have more penetration and he has gotten stronger. He even managed to outmark Talia on the weekend. Power forwards struggle to do that. Just a gun.
