By the sounds of things, he's on a salary that's on par with most other decent ruckman so if another club was seeking that they'd probably have to pony up higher value picks above what you'd initially anticipate.

what's Darcy's salary? At his best he's worth a lot. But he's rarely playing and probably not worth more than 700k. I'm pretty sure Darcy is on more than that, so there would be exchanging of good picks in any scenario. Best care scenario would be a late first round pick to a contending club provided they do 100 medicals.

I didn't say anything to the contrary, I'm not sure we are as desperate for a small forward as many think.

Furthermore, if you are correct and Kosi is going to be a top 20 or even 10 player in the competition then he certainly isn't going to be doing it as a small forward.
