Have never been sure about this bloke however when he comes in (rarely) he performs.

2012 Prelim: He holds his weight. Seriously you have to admire a bloke that hasn't played in the seniors for over a year to be able to hold his weight and keep his composure in such an important match.

Pretty sure this is his his first match since....

2014 Showdown: Not sure who he was on but everytime he was in the contest he never lost. Spoiled or had quick hands...

How have we not tested this guy at AFL level... Is he too small to be KDF? Does it matter after watching Otto effort tonight?

I know Otto has his admires however I'm with you......

If Otto is going to play back I would rather either L Thompson or Hartigan as they offer more versiltility down back

I created this thread to commend Thompson on his performance and acknowledge his performance in the '12 prelim.. Seriously scary he can step in to AFL n do a great job... Now people are talking about trading him.. WTF

We wouldn't get anything for him.. You're talking about a bloke that everytime he has been called on in high pressure games to perform u want to trade?


We'd be lucky to get pick #69 just for a laugh...

Should trade him to GWS then if he wants opportunities. Just does my head in though, thought this guy was good, just needed a bit of size on him a few years back but rarely gets a look in. Tonight he ran down Polec ( though to be fair Polecs head does weigh him down a bit) and wasn't out marked by the Bearded Lady. He has to be a fair pork swordsman who has cut a sway through the clubs wives and girlfriends to be on the outside this much

LT is better than Joel Tippet, more athleticism and pace and he got a gig at the Roos, even if only as depth.

I mean, he was fine tonight, good even (enough to deserve his very own toast thread, apparently ), but lets wait until he's played a few good games in a row, on legitimate KPFs before anointing him as a gun. It's one game, his first in a year and a half. Don't make your mind up yet.

Only got to see the final quarter so I can't comment on his game but good to see him finally get a chance. I'm not sold on Hartigan so I've been wanting us to give him a crack for some time now to see whether he has what it takes to be a KP defender in our side. Might end up just being another 3rd tall though which isn't exactly what we want, but we'll find that out over the next few weeks if he's given a proper run.

same height as Jenny, sadly he is a lightweight so he'd struggle to take a KPD spot. No point in saying we'll just get him to eat thickshakes and cheese burgers over summer, just doesn't look like he adds weight to his frame
