I rarely buy anything from here anymore but the ads spruiked my interest so had one the other week and thought I must of a got a lucky burger maker man, so tried another one this week and am now convinced. This is their best attempt at burger making yet.

Thoughts?

I agree - Their burgers are usually just slopped shite, but I thought the lamb burger was very good - Although the maker could have thrown some more sauce n beetroot into it..other than that it was definitely worth the buy..:thumbsu:

Like any MacDonalds burger - it tastes more like dessert than a meal.

Total slops.

Nice tasting pig slops like all maccas food.

Closest thing to a real burger at maccas. Thought the egg was an odd ingredient but it works.

It's not much chop.

The patty is not bad (especially for macca's), but the burger is dry, not enough vegies/salad, and there is something very dodgy about the egg. I don't know what they do, but fried egg shouldn't be rubbery.

If you want a decent burger, avoid.

Had the lamb burger the other day.

Not much chop IMO. Better than their other attempts at burgers though.

Maccas need to invest in some tomatoes.

haven't tried jus burgers so honestly can't comment.

They must be really great if they're daylight ahead of huxtaburgers - which are delicious.

People who bag maccas shit me to tears. It seems like everyone hates on maccas (tastes like cardboard! slop! wouldn't feed it to my dog), but why are they so big and still popping up everywhere? cos these people actually love eating there but won't ever admit it, it's just "in" to not be a fan of McDonalds.

It's not just their food I have issues with, but it's their questionalble business practises. Look into the story of Dave Morris and Helen Steel and learn about the corporate ethics of this company and I would suggest that it is very unlikely you'll ever at at one those loathsome "restaurants".

Best burger Ive ever had by frikkin miles was at The Burger Bistro on Shafto Lane in Perth city. FIFO wage needed though if you want to buy there regularly but.

Jus Burgers in Leederville, and a few other places liked Grill'd in Mt Lawley Ive found to be hugely over rated and bland.

The best burger i've EVER had in my life was from 'huxtaburger'. Try it and thank me later :)

Shit burger joint is seriously shit. Filled with your typical white fitzroy poseur lining up for 40 mins to eat what is essentially a crap and very plane burger. But hey if you like being seen on smith st with other white ****wits then this place is heaven.

Seriously i had a burger from this place and for the price it was shit..utter shit. Maccas make better burgers.

I must have got Maccas about 4am this morning as I awoke to find the wrapper by my bed. Don't know what I ate, but the chocolate milkshake was refreshing this morning.

I had a burger at that famous Kermonds (?) place in Warnambool recently but was underwhelmed. Overpriced and bland.

The best burgers are from the kangaroo. Gourmet game.

Morris and Steel were two activists who handed out some leaflets that highlighted some of McDonalds' less savoury business practises, and the company sued them. Representing themselves in court, the case, the case took over ten years to come to a judgement, during which time the pair were spied on by McDonalds and some of the groups that they were involved in were infiltrated by the company. While the judge found them to be liable for some of the comments, he also said that certain accusations such as misleading advertising, cruelty to animals and exploitation of children were factual.
It's a cracking David and Goliath story and makes McDonalds look very shifty indeed. If you are interested; McLibel, Burger Culture on Trail, by John Vidal comes highly recommended. If you want to be turned off fast food completely, Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation should do the job nicely.

The Olympus Milk Bar run by Theo>>all

Sadly all burger joints run by theos are now run by ngyuens and the burgers are well shit.
