Loved the cheer squad's banner paying tribute to Makey's milestone. It read, "50 Tenacious Games." The high regard Makey is held in at Arden Street is clear. From the cheer squad, to the trainers, to the coaching staff - they all rate the little guy so highly.

There was a great article in the Footy Record devoted to Makey and I made sure I got the page autographed at the post match function. Troy was one of the blokes called up to speak and he took the opportunity to pay tribute to the Martyns rather than hog the lime light. We were lucky to have a few quiet words with him and he was feverishly pointing out the rest of his clan and explaining which footy clubs his brothers were with.

I'm just so incredibly proud of Troy tonight. I'm proud of all our boys but milestones like this are pretty special to a young player.
