Now that was another professional performance. It’s becoming harder not to make Michael Carrick the permanent manager.

If only we didn’t have a manager who was trying to get sacked for half the season because what could have been. :(

We should easily finish top 3 this season, tbh. Nothing is guaranteed with this team obviously but, we haven't had an attack this strong in a long, long time.

I still can’t believe how overwhelming shit Amorim was. He looked like a great up and coming manager at Sporting, but I suppose it is Portuguese football after all and not everyone can make the same leap that Mourinho did.

That Europa League final loss still annoys me. Especially, when gung ho Ange decided to change his tactics to specifically win the final and Amorim was stubborn to stick to his way even when Spuds parked the bus.

I think Amorim still has a future in managing, he’s not a complete dud, the PL may not be for him but we have to remember that United is run like a circus, the glazers and SJR are a disgrace and Amorim was clearly having issues with the board.

This has been a strange season. We had Amorim trying to get sacked for half of it. 13 games left to play and already more points than last season. An attack that has the third highest goals scored in the league and a backline that has conceded two fewer goals than Forest in 17th.

Pretty clear progress. Fixed the attacking line last year. This year the midfield, which will hopefully improve the defence in turn.

Yeah, it’s good the club know exactly where the improvement is needed in the transfer window.

I wonder who told them..... or after a decade or more of no midfield have they finally cottoned on?

Clearly we're after a couple of top midfielders - Anderson and Baleba is my guess.

But I hope we keep stacking up the 18-21 years with high potential - Dorgu and Yoro have been good signings. More like that. We won't get them all right but it's the way to build a great team.

A solid win on the weekend. 4 wins in row now under Michael Carrick. Playing with a lot more freedom now clearly. Very happy we kept a clean sheet. We were certainly helped by the red card to the Spurs captain Romero with that challenge on Casemiro.

Nice set piece finish from Mbeumo. That was really well executed.

It was nervy for a lot of that 2nd half at 1-0 never safe but when Bruno got that 2nd goal it was much more relaxing after that. He is in very good form.

The Stratford End was rocking after Bruno scored.

Now onto West Ham.
