Great to have CL football back next season, but I really do fear Carrick will get the full time gig, and with more games next season this squad is not going to cut it, could go south very quickly if we don’t heavily invest in the summer window.

First ten minutes we were brilliant and unlucky to score. Good performance overall but got tight at the end.

The Ds are being a problem, Dalot is simply not up to it and hasn't ever been, need to replace him. Diallo is continuing to struggle, not scoring goals he normally would hit and straying out of position.

Carrick deserves a shot imo, two year deal should be enough time whether he is worth it or not.

Definitely need to invest in our defense that is the worst part of the team currently.

Some of the highest earners in that list (like Rashford and Onana) still have 2-3 years to run in their contracts, and we have struggled to sell them. Casemiro is leaving the club and Sancho is expiring this summer, so both of those will help.

One thing is for sure, regardless of who the manager is next season, unless we fix our central midfield in the summer, we will end up regressing next season.

Being in the CL again, especially with the new format is pretty exciting, though.
