Gutted but being a glass half full kind of guy it now provides less fixture congestion to concentrate on the trophy that always matters most.

Thought the OT crowd was great this morning, pity it takes a big game to get them going.

Want to see a reaction this weekend.
Well I am glass half empty kind of guy. If that red wasn't given we probably would have won. On to Chelsea. Really need to win because if we don't win the EPL we need something to fall back on. A year without the premier league has been hell and we need to put ourselves back where we belong; on top.

I also reckon having a less congested fixture is overated. We have a big squad and they all need to get game time. If we are playing only once a week then 2nd stringers like Hernandez, Welbeck and Young will only play a couple of times a month which will not keep them fresh at all

We all agree that getting the title back was always #1 priority and anything after that was a bonus.

While getting kicked out of the CL guts us all, we now have less distractions, at least 2 less games for a fatal injury to a star player, 2 less games to exhaust players and we can now focus on what we all stated was important....the premiership.

And if your a glass half empty kind of guy then you have a pretty stressful life ahead of you

The 'Rooney is leaving' rumours are starting again because he started on the bench yesterday. Apparently Coleen tweeted "can't believe Wayne isn't starting" or something like that. Read somehwere that before beckham left he was left out in a game against Real Madrid as well. Probably reading to much into it but just going to say that it wouldn't surprise me if Rooney was to leave this time around.

Definitely reading too much into it. Was all tactics. Welbeck played due to his speed

BBC has run with it. Shambles of a story

I don't believe it but there's always a slight chance. Honestly, would make no sense at all to sell Rooney since we just got RVP to the club to play alongside him. Hope he signs a new contract soon.

Honestly if he spits it again (and there is no evidence of this as yet) like a few years ago then he can feck right off. He has only got back into my good books from the last episode.

No player is bigger than the club

Well... what a terrible performance and to throw away a 2-0 lead like that, felt like a loss. Don't think we have any chance in the replay tbh, so F.A Cup looks a long shot this season. This week has been one to forget, but could have so easily been one to remember, but we just keep finding ways to f*** everything up. 1-0 up against RM at home after 68 minutes, go down to 10-men then just lose the plot and fall apart. 2-0 up against Chelsea and do the exact same thing, fall apart.

Lucky we have a 12pt lead, but it's no where near safe, the feelabout our team atm is that they are down and looking tired. RVP has gone missing for far to long, needs to find the back of the net.

Valencia is so shit right now, same level as Bebe. He came on and did absolutely nothing which is flipping annoying cause i thought he was slowly getting back into form. Then again, he's been so inconsistent through the whole season. de Gea did well, no chance with any of the goals but what a stop to deny Mata at the end. He's firmly established as our no.1 keeper now in my eyes, even if Lindegaard was fit. We were lucky to get the draw after that 2nd half performance but overall i'm not worried about the team. We were either gonna give a top performance today or a flat one after Madrid, and we saw a bit of both in each halves + we used 7 players from the same lineup vs Real. I agree with Fergie here when he said we ran out of legs cause it was very noticeable to me. Hazard changed the game for them and scored a peach. I'm sure it's been as mental as physically draining for the players but now we have a 6 day break until our next match and i think we'll "get back to business as usual" starting on Saturday vs Reading.
de Gea
Rafael, Vidic, Smalling, Evra
Carrick, Cleverley
Young, Rooney, Welbeck
RVP

Nani and Jones both out for tommorrow. Hope Young plays over Valencia and even though I know it will never happen, Rooney to drop into CM . If we are going to sign Lewandowski I reckon he needs to be moved into midfield. I think we will see this starting 11although with Sir Alex you never know

De Gea
Rafael Vidic Smalling Evra
Carrick Anderson
Young Rooney Kagawa
Hernandez/Welbeck

Lindgaard Evans Buttner Carrick Welbeck/Hernandez RVP Giggs

1. We need to get games into Smalling. Play him with Vidic which should still be a solid pairing.
2. Play Anderson and Young. If they can't get a game against Reading at OT they may as well leave. Anderson was in such good form before he got injured and it seems he has turned to shit again but hopfully this is the type of game to turn it around
3.No I haven't rest RVP, right now I trust Hernandez more and he should start unless SAF wants to start Welbeck and give him some gametime. He only ever seems to play against good teams because unlike Rooney and RVP he is quick and is good against a high line. So maybe this isn't the game to play him

Well considering we haven't conceded a goal in 537 minutes of football and our last loss was against Norwich, losing the title from here would be the biggest choke in the history of sport.

The much anticipated 20th title is on the doorstep of old Trafford.

Missed a United match for the first time in agesss. Saw the highlights, looked like one of those frustrating games looking for a second goal and shit. But 15 points is gooood.

There's no certainties in sport, so holding off celebrations until mathematically impossible to lose it.

I know a lot of you would prefer to see the stronger XI against Sunderland than vs Chelsea in the FA cup, but I think Fergie will play a team strong enough to beat Sunderland, not the strongest.
