What a free kick and what a save!

Still nervous whenever dealing with cross or high balls though.

My thoughts on the three penalty incidents.

1) I seem to be in the minority here, but I thought this was nailed on. Yes, Cahill certainly does make contact with Welbeck outside the box. Danny keeps his feet, Cahill's challenge continues into the box and contact again inside the box brings him down. Giving a free kick outside the area would have been bottling it, however Webb did this anyway.

2) Can't see how this wasn't. Evra baited Sturridge into a challenge, and Sturridge's only contact was with the back of Evra's foot.

3) As a football fan I'd have liked to see Webb wave play on here. Similar to the Johnson one, in that there is contact, but the attacker has done just as much to cause it as the defender, if not more.

Evra one. No argument. It was there and correctly given.

The Welbeck one I thought was soft.

But as has been said before, makes a change from being completely shafted by Atkinson at the bridge.

He's made some cracking saves all season. As Fergie said post match, we need to be patient with him. The natural ability is there, the confidence and physicality will come. In 4-5 seasons we'll be looking at one of the world's best keepers, but right now it is very easy to forget how young the guy is. I hope teams continue to pepper him with high balls, because it's the only way he'll learn to deal with it.

He's done as much as anyone to win us points at Anfield and Stamford Bridge this season.

Was an absolute peach. Maybe they can play Torres as a winger?

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good to get one over the bastards. Loved Pats celebrations afterward.

The difference between the two teams was staggering. Only got home in time for the second half, but gee Liverpool just didnt seems like putting any pressure on the ball save the last ten minutes after the Suarez goal.

Now onto Ajax

I should point out that the number of unread threads in my CP right now is 19.

Heh. How good is that? :D

Should be right in third gear.

Should being the operative word. Will be interesting to watch Eriksen and co live for the first time as well.

Kenny Dalglish is talking sugar muffins! What a lier.

Explaining "sugar muffins" (and possibly taunting Ravel!):

3 points and the 'dippers making even bigger twats of themselves. Job well done. Now for Aston Villa to do their bit.

Valencia did his hammy in the lead up to the second goal this morning. SAF said he'll be out for up to a month.
