A great weekend of results for us.

Now, it's all about the game against Madrid and rotating the players this week against Everton.
Against Everton i'd like to see the players in bold come into the team:
de Gea
Jones, Evans, Vidic/Rio/Smalling, Evra
Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley, Nani
Rooney, Welbeck/Hernandez

Sub Cleverley, Rooney and Nani at some stage.

The team against Madrid is harder to pick cause we played 4-3-3 this season too in the CL. But assuming we go 4-2-3-1, i'll go:
de Gea
Rafael, Vidic, Rio, Evra
Carrick, Cleverley
Valencia, Rooney, Nani/Kagawa/Young (if fit)
RVP

The players in red were the ones that unfortunately lost their lives, I can't even imagine something like that happening today. Imagine if we woke up tomorrow morning and half the current side had died in an accident. Horrible.

Duncan Edwards, middle far right i think. If i had a chance to see a couple of past United players live, it would be him, Best, Cantona and Robson.

Ahhh still wonder what we could've achieved if this tragedy never occured :( and also the English national team.

For Everton I reckon we should go all out and play our strongest 11. Maybe bar RVP and put him on the bench for Chicha
De Gea
Rafael Vidic Ferdinand Evra
Carrick
Nani Rooney Cleverley Kagawa
Hernandez

Lindgaard Evans Buttner Welbeck Anderson Giggs RVP

For Madrid I woud maybe start Ferdinand and Evans because Vdic hasn't played 2 games in 4 days since he returned. Also I reckon Evans is more suited to Madrid as they have no Fellaini type threats in the air like Everton do. I would go

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Evans Evra
Carrick Anderson
Valencia Rooney Nani
RVP

Lindgaard SmallingScholesCleverley Hernandez Nani Kagwa

How can you not love this club!

Its incredible to believe that on several occasions under SAF, United's reign at the top or longevity of it has been questioned.

Think back to when we sold, Hughes, Ince and Kanchelskis in 1 summer and brought in kids, when Cantona retired, when Abromovich's $$$ came to Chelsea, when Ronaldo went to Real Madrid and when Billions was/is being piled into our noisy neighbours.

Everytime during these periods United's time as challengers for silverware has been questioned and everytime they respond because we have something money can not buy. Belief, hunger and desire. Sure we have spent along the way, you have to if you want to win things but more often than not we bring in players who also have that want to succeed.

We continue to challenge for honours.

I feckin love this club as it fills me with pride and I love that we are hated and envied by others.

Forever United!

Absolutely. Every year on here its the same tune "United wont challenge, they're finished, they'll finish 4th at the most". And yet every year they're still at the business end getting it done.

Good game overall. De Gea looked standardly shaky from corners/contact but in UCL he should get some more protection. Vidic and Rafa were the best. Not sure if Vidic if play vs Madrid because Rio will defs play and he hasn't played 2 games in such a short amount of space so we might go with Evans.
De Gea, Rafael, Carrick, Nani, Kagawa and Ferdinand imo are sure starters. Will Chich or Welbeck get a run you reckon? They haven't played in a while and we want to keep them happy. Anyway I don't think either will start unless Sir Alex wants to rest RVP. I reckon we will go
De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic/Evans Evra
Carrick Anderson
Nani Rooney Kagawa
RVP/Hernandez

How many are on the bench? If it is 7 I would go

Amos Vidic/Evans Welbeck RVP/Hernandez Scholes Cleverley Valencia

GGMU

Also the league is not nearly over. I will not think that unless we get 15 points ahead with 8 games to play. Let's hope Chel$ki can do the business over their plastic compatriots. Next up we have QPR who are as unpredictable as anything. I read Remy might be back which is annoying but deny him supply and we should be fine
