If you get a positive result on a RAT, you don't need to take a PCR for confirmation.

You can simply use the RAT to collect your 'covid disaster payment', or sick leave from work, or whatever.

If you get a negative result on the RAT, this is not sufficient for travel, you need a PCR.

First things first the classification is changing now to with Covid. Those killed are at life expectancy. As more is known most dying have co morbidities and are susceptible to infection same as since year dot.
None the less no differentiation has been made.

I have heard people say a truckie who spread covid interstate ( not sure how people think food should be delivered) should be jailed for 5 years.
On a bike path a rider break suddenly and scream at a jogger 20 metres away all alone to put a mask on.
I have other examples.
A hairdresser wearing gloves, goggles a mask a face shield and not letting me adjust the straps of my mask so she could cut around.
Peoples perceptions to the threat are totally screwed up.
In fact a survey was done (quoted it ages ago) that the average response was 33% people thought their chance of dying if they got Covid.
This hysteria above has been promoted by the government (go outside and people will die singing is the most dangerous activity you can do don't touch the footy over the fence are some famous moments), press conferences every day highlighting every death the media and medical bureaucracy.
