*Point One* Just one point, I made 2,000 posts under Sandie, so you will need to adjust your figures, or else spend more of your time looking up all the posts under Sandie.

*Point Two* Also, if you want to delude yourself & others that you have only ever made 1 post (notice I said posts not topics you started)about jumper clashes, who am I to spoil that delusion.

*Point Three* To anyone wanting the Bombers to change their strip, there is one way you can make it happen, take out a Bomber membership & then at the next Annual General Meeting vote for a guernsey change, because at the moment that is the only way the strip can be changed.

Oh & if I am absent for a few days again, my apologies in advance, as at the moment I am only able to spend limited time on the net, due to work & family commitments.

*Point One* All the threads you have ever posted under either the name mantis or sandie are in that total number of posts.

There isnt any more starter topics than that which I have shown (with the exception of maybe one or two overlooked but after checking the whole of the site I think thats allowable). A grand total across all boards of 178 out of 5,189.

I have no comment to make other than that which I have previously stated. Your posts and topic headers are there listed and dated (Under both names in case you miss the point). Your contribution to this site speaks for itself. I have my opinions on it, Im sure others do as well.

*Point Two* In the original post topic that I did start you said, quote "Did you search all the forums, obviously not." I have now under both names which I also told you previously but you obvioulsy didnt read or chose to ignore.

Bet if I did a search on yours, 90% would be on jumper clashes, waverley, colonial, or umpires.

Well I did say that I would have liked for you to find that 90% but thought that a little over the top. So what I then asked was for you to find two topics that I had started on colour clashes. Why did I ask for two, well because I think I may have previously started ONE. I cant recall starting two though.

Now for my so called hobby horse of the subject I cannot even recall discussing it greatly at any stage. If I did or have done I would think out of my 3,000 plus posts to this site that maybe there could be a half dozen all posts on the subject. Gee I really flog that horse dont I.

You cannot back up what you say. You have been asked a question on what you have made a statement on that you cannot answer so you change the question asked of you. Fine I will go with it. Find me a half dozen posts total that I have made on the subject of colour changes *prior to the topic post in question* and I will offer a full apology for loading the boards over and over again with the same subject.

*Point Three* In the colour clashes thread you originally said it was boring and that I should find another subject. Yet you are now the one that brings up a scenario about it? Why? Why come into a thread only to say that the thread doesnt interest you? Why bother those that are/were enjoying the debate? Why criticize others that are only trying to enjoy the site by actually talking about football?

Im still dubious about the essendon constitution thing.

They don't own the rights to their jumper design, so if all teh other clubs decide to change they can pretty much force teh same on Essendon, regardless of what their members think.

I could draw up the me constitution which would make me only able to wear green, but if i did something gay like work for wendys id still have to wear pink.

Then again, essendon can always cede from the competition to protect their members rights.

Grendel, your idee fixe about mantis is disturbing to say the least...

Since when we do judge a poster by the number of threads they start? Surely it's about quality of input (be that starting threads or responding to others) not the amount of threads they start.

You seem to be from the 'starting threads means I'm a quality poster' school of thought. It could be easily argued that some of the threads you have created border on the banal, which is perhaps being charitable (no, I don't have the time to do a search).

Mantis original comment regarding jumper clashes was, I thought, a minor aside to say the least, hardly worthy of the effort you seem to have expended.

DipD, all I have done in this and the other thread is as mantis had asked. That is I have shown exactly what topics she has posted. Firstly in the footy only forum. When that wasnt enough she wanted the entire site shown. Someone once said 'Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it'.

I couldnt respond to her last post in the original thread to make three points that I wanted to comment on as it was locked. That is why I had to open (which I would have preferred not to have done) this thread in its place to make that reply.

Intepret her contribution to this site (or mine for that matter) how you like. Just please remember that this all started at her request.

Clause 5 of the Articles of Association:
"5. The uniform for the AFL Premiership season will consist of a black jumper or guernsey with a red sash, red and black socks and white or black shorts. Such uniform will be worn at all matches subject to the rules and directions of the AFL."

So the AFL could force Essendon to change their jumper for a game if they wanted to. But I doubt they will.
But it does mean that the Bombers can't change their jumper design without a Special Resolution at a general meeting. So no orange or M&M jumpers.
