Martin Hardie: I write the forms... I think Evans ran the program

Funny that everyone is doing their best to distance themselves and downplay their responsibility in what happened at essendon. Hardie is doing the opposite. Odd fellow.

Obvious fame leech is obvious.

Remember the post court case picture with him and Smilin' Steve?

You could see Dank was thinking "Well, I might be a campaigner, but at least I'm not a sea kayaker like this bloke".

Hardie doesn't like Evans because he still represents the faction on Essendon's board that recently tried to sack Hird.

I notice there are moves afoot by the Hird faithful not to accept a particular ticket at Essendon (AGM) based purely on the fact that the candidates are against Hird. Nothing to do with doing the right thing for the Club.

But... Hird IS THE CLUB!

But seriously, I would not be surprised if it turned out that Dank got a law lecturer to write up the forms. Much cheaper than an actual lawyer.

More to it than that too, he applied for the CEO job and was not selected.

He attempted another ticket wtih Vlad's brother, and never really made it off the ground.

And the AFL's well, henchmen are all supporting his move, Caro, KB etc. It smells as an AFL control.

I'm still not sold completely on Hirds return. But, I'm a little concerned from a few that it is part of an AFL plan. And I don't trust the AFL tbh.

Anyone who does research can write a decent consent form that would get past an ethics committee. But then it's obvious Dank doesn't think that ethics and research apply to his secret squirrel business. Which also means Essendon as they are responsible for him as an employee during that period.

Ahhh... the old it's all an AFL conspiracy trick....

'professional provocateurs feared at all houses we are nobodies, bursting into presentations and readings - we do not represent anyone even our employers'

Am I missing something, or does this person not English very well?

Semi-serious question here. If that were to be the case, are there issues concerning malpractice and the concomitant insurance exposure?

Surely just a throw-away line/joke in a forum.

Sledging Evans is pretty consistent with the Hird-camp believing him to be a traitor. The line about writing the forms is consistent with Hardie believing he is central to the story and forcing himself into it at every opportunity.

I can't imagine anyone at Essendon commissioning Hardie to do anything. I can imagine Hardie volunteering and being humoured after the story broke, and him presenting that as a grander involvement than it was.
no such thing as a throw away line on the internet. There will be and are rich lawyers making money from throw away lines.

I think it fits perfectly with Dank's modus operandi.

If you hire Dank, you hire Dank's network as well.

Wilcourt writes the scripts, Charter imports, Alavi compounds to request, Hardie provides the "legal", Finey the PR;) etc etc

No doubt he had a similar network in NSW.

It makes perfect sense that Dank would have had Martin write up the consents. Everything is done in house in the Dank regime.

I remember right back when this thing first broke, and Jenny Brockie did an Insight program on it. Hardie was involved in the panel and he was trying to dominate the narrative right back then. I remember thinking, and i didn't know who Hardie was back then, that this guy seemed way over keen and determined.

Edit: I just skimmed through the Insight program on Youtube. Although Hardie was involved in it, it wasn't the show in my memory that Hardie tried too hard in.

But you trust the current coach and board?
