I think you'll find it's noif - a peculiarity of ours is to add nasally vowels when totally unnecessary. Lazy mouths, oi think.

You can use the same pattern for our northerly Oirish friends - just replace the 'ow' sound with an 'i'

- e.g.
Around = arind
Town = tine
Pound = pined
