If he was skrull he could just have easily picked harolad instead of doctor colossus as he claims.

We are going to have to deal with him eventually either through a seer or lynching/vig killing him. And since It's potentially an evil seering role, It isn't worth us waiting a day or two and wasting a seer in the process to find out if he is telling the truth, because in that time he will feed the other mafia members valuable information. Worst case scenario then we are just killing a simple villager.

I Fail to see any benefit for the town for him to come out the way he has. A good role like seer/vig/guardian wouldn't claim it to try and hide from evil because the real skrull could get recruited to an evil side later on and easily identify the impostor to their teammates. Plus it narrows down the number of targets for evil trying to kill the vigs/seers/guardians.

Yeah it's a strange decision because

• you've narrowed down the list for evil players to target,
• evil campaigners under attention might have tried to claim the shapeshifter role and you would have been able to call them out.

He has to pick his target before the game starts he wouldn't of known Harolad was the godfather. If he happens to have a stone and the bad guys all think he was a villager and ignore him then it's prefect for us, either way they have to use a kill to find out
