I think you took my post the wrong way ...
Joeseph, Joeseph, Joeseph. A lie and an impossibility = impudence. Being your bog average pies supporter I knew in advance our conversation would take this turn, hence the offer of safe escort. Like you would a toddler who has wandered from the wading pool into the shark pond. Hope you are wearing your floaties.

Of course, lack of anything intelligent so choosing a soft target for idle banter has noting to do with it.

Ps. Do you know markfs? He lives over your way.

Was excellent tonight, not given the plaudits he deserves.
Did the majority of the ruck, was tireless and kept competing around the ground.
Doesn’t need to kick goals to have an influence.
Well done big man.
Agree he was key to our premiership, and still comes up with a contested mark or two during the game.

Did a great job at quieting McInerney's influence. McInerney had two games against us with 10+ clearances against us last season, only 3 last night.

He was very competitive last night which was great to see.

He played ok as a result. He’s a good match up for big O.

He still dropped a hell of a lot of marks he got clear hands to, but hopefully they’ll come next week.

Hope they give Darcy some electrolytes this Easter, did seem very listless.
Darcy was excellent- thrashed his opponent and played an integral part of our defence.

Edit: sorry, if you mean Darcy Cameron then yeah I agree, he was clearly hampered and looked a bit flat.

Where to for the big man?

When you look at his stats, there is not a lot of difference between this year and last year.

Obviously, is yet to kick a goal.

Last night, he looked pretty poor. Didn’t have a possession in the forward 50, gave away free kicks and lost two critical clearances at the start of the third.

Can he turn it around?
Or is he due for a run in the VFL?

We certainly agree on this. He’s really down and might need a spell. Question is, who replaces him?

My first thought is Kreuger. We need a key forward target more than we need a ruckman . But Freddy needs to get through a game first if not two or three.

Cox has bounced back from stinkers before and will likely be backed in again

He was quite poor last night, but on a side note the pies must ask the question to the powers that be about his treatment of the ball. Watching live never seen anyone else blocked dragged at will in so many contests.

Oops forgot about our key forward Nathan Kreuger, who is 25 years old and has 4 career goals.

Kreuger has played 7 games for us, and in those 7 games has averaged just under 40% TOG. He is both fragile and reckless.

In the two lone games he's played 41% or more TOG with us, he's kicked 4.2. Problem being those were his first two games with the club...

I think Kreugs is out at the end of the year.

I think he'll get another senior chance this year (we've got noone else), which will decide his longer term fate.

I believe Steene and Kreuger are due back very soon if not this week but will obviously need to show some serious form in a hurry.
I’m very bullish on Steene but he will need another season of VFL IMO.

Kruger’s ship has sailed for me sadly save for some divine intervention that prevents any further injuries

I certainty hope Cameron stays fit because I know our next best option is already playing where he should be, in defence

I remain open to the 1 ruck setup but with Frampton currently required in defence and McStay injured our best alternatives for Cox in the 2nd ruck role aren't available. I wont consider Moore a realistic option unless Fly suddenly indicates it's now a consideration.

If Steene can stay clear of further concussions and show some strong marking form in the VFL then he might be an option in the second half of the year as a forward/ruck.

Kreuger unfortunately is so prone to injury that even if his form warrants senior selection you can't rely on him being anything more than a short term week by week solution.
