is matt mcarty going to be delisted this year and if he is, is he any chance of being picked up by another team. Is he afl standard
I'd say no, no because we'll keep him, and perhaps if he worked on a few things (ala h). whilst I think we'll keep him it seems fairly obvious that he will be starved of opportunities at geelong which is unfortunate for him. perhaps he'd get more opportunities elsewhere.

I think he would get picked up. He always plays well in the reserves, get a crack, has a nervous game, f*Cks his something, has surgery - 8 weeks off and does it again. He goes alright though

I'd like for the club to keep him for at least another season. He's just 23 at the moment and if he overcomes his injury problems he'll be able to play a good 5-6 seasons. I reckon he has the talent, the question is just whether his body can handle AFL standard footy.

That's exactly the problem and its a recurring problem. I can't see it just stopping suddenly. I mean the bump he took against Hawthorn was hardly savage. Unfortunately for Matt I say we cut our losses :(

clearly not good enough on a consistent basis to play long term afl football. If they perservere with him he will have his good days but his in consistency will kill him. I would have him as trade bait for a mid range draft pick at the end of the year.
