Well.
We've just beaten the Tigers, now it's time for Lions & Bears

The original plan was to re-write "welcome to the jungle" as "we're going to the jungle" however the switch of venues through that plan in disarray. (even had the music nerd family ready to perform it for you all). So instead, I will half arse it, and hopefully come home with a wet sail.

So plan B it is. Although, given the state of our playing list at present, is it plan X?

LAST TIME WE MET
It was a whirlwind week. We'd just been humiliated by the cross town rivals, who thought they needed to show up after forgetting to board the plane to Geelong, and had gone from looking forward to regrouping for a crack at a home game, to expecting to spend multiple weeks on the road.
From bad, to terrible, to "ahh frell it all"

Brisbane had just torched Port at home, and like last year, got the benefit of multiple weeks at home in the own soft, comfy, safe space beds.

We got off the plane late, and the difference was too much to make up for after half time, when the boys eventually showed up.

CURRENT FORM
Despite our win last week (epic), we have been well, meh, to say the least. shown up finals certainties Geelong and Sydney, beating the teams we should (except for Carlton, seriously, wtaf??) and getting close on the road.
Brisbane have equally disappointing, their only win of the last few weeks coming against Gold Cost, who seem to be on holidays early again this year, and losses to Hawks, Tiges and Saints to leave them sitting sixth, and in danger of falling out of the eight. (One can only hope)

Being a Sunday game, let's all play media personalities and speculate with no substance.

MATCH DETAILS
Another wonderful 3:10PM Sunday arvo game. Which will mean that Monday for work everyone will either be calling in sick, or getting there early, depending on the result.
After a couple of days of sunlight, just to tease us all (much like the Dockers really), Sunday will still be warm-ish, just wet and cloudy. Hopefully this plays into our hands, having been through a Melbourne-like winter already, while the Lions will be experiencing their second week on the road.

Expect Pearce to go Daniher, and Logue to McStay, only to be moved onto Cameron after he kicks 5 in the first half. Meek and Darcy to remind Brisbane that they shouldn't have traded Martin, while Brayshaw rubs little Lachie's face into what a team actually looks like.

Expect us to burst out of the blocks in the first, getting away to a 4 (behind) lead, before napping through the second and third, with Brisbane up by a couple of goals by the 3QT. With them blowing their petrol tickets early (they don't get good mileage from a Tassie trip to the west after all), Tabs to go monster mode and kick 3 in the last (and for the game, typical Tabs), while we all sit and ponder what Cerra's BoG 35D, 3G effort means for him staying or going.
Throw in a couple of injuries for spice heading into the derby, and we have ourselves a nice little match.

Freo by 15. Cerra to get 10 Coaches votes (as we know that's what makes a player *cough* Parfitt *cough*) and Lachie to head for ankle and shoulder surgery once he tries to tackle Henry, and tackle Darcy.
