Maybe you misunderstood my post which I thought was straight forward.

It was your post implying it was something other than what the club said it was……effectively calling them liars as I read it…that’s what I responded to.

And I was saying he was clearly hampered last week. I'm not calling the club anything. I don't expect the club to tell me what I want to hear. Did you see the game last week?. Bobby was clearly hampered.

No hill, Schultz, Mccreery, Sullivan is a great backup option. If he was any better he wouldn’t be back up. He’d be playing in another team. This seems to get lost on some people.

I’m worried about Hill, that’s 2 times since signing the big mega contract he’s had to withdraw from a game with personal issues.

Family comes first. Simple.
Other people take time off from their job for family matters. Why should he be any different.

I hope he’s ok. He’ll be back when he’s ready.

Most of us knew prior to the game that going with the 4 tall forwards was overkill, made us unbalanced and judging by the Fly presser it's the conclusion he'll reach also.

West certainly earned his opportunity but IMO wasn't given the best chance to shine with Fly unable to bring himself to manage Membrey or Mihocek for 1 week. Kind of think we missed a small opportunity and if we weren't prepared to manage one of the MM against the bottom placed Eagles then it's hard to see it happening against the arch enemy.

West will get another chance before the season is out and if injury strikes it could be an extended one. Needs to stay primed and ready to go!

I'd play Dean again as I'd really like to start discovering whether 12 months on he looks more comfortable at AFL level and has improved. Is he viable at senior level or is VFL his ceiling? If Maynard returns as expected Fly may decide he's not required.

If Mitchell is any chance in the short term then Carlton is probably the optimum opponent as their game is built around contested ball and stoppage.

Players look sore every week. Mihocek could he rested every second game if that’s your analysis technique. Same with Elliot, Howe, half the side really.

If Bobby was going to be managed then they would have made that selection call on the Thursday. It’s not the club’s modus operandi to pull late changes and I can hardly see what strategic benefit there would by by calling Leggy at Bunnings again unless it was a last minute call.

Makes no sense at all to play the “personal reasons” card if injury was the real reason. It just draws undue attention.

Don't think its time for resting. We are close to almost locking away top spot, or top two, so should not be risking losses. If we can push through the next few then we have the remaining games to manage players and not worry about losses.
