I'll interpret Mod silence as tacit agreement, if that's a liberty I may take, given this seems like a logical and less burdensome way forward;
silk, VelvetSledge (I think) and eth-dog haven't the time to write up match previews each week this season, but I know we all like to read them. Instead, what I thought we could do is work together to carry the board with respect to this. There are more posters here than rounds of footy, so I thought we could nominate to take responsibility to write the match preview for a round each. This way we all contribute for each other in a way that is least troubling. (Mods, is there some way to incentivise participation from your end, I wonder?)
