I'm a Roos man and let me say I have you lot above West Coast in skills so good luck for the remainder of the season as I think your flying!

Just interested to hear your thoughts on what the midfield matchups will be for this weeks game?

Players against Sydney rarely get over 20 touches.... they can't tag all your stars so who do you think they Swans will go for?

Expect Roo and Goodwin to be tagged. We'll probably start McLeod down back. Watch for big games from Thomson and Edwards if they are allowed freedom. McLeod into the midfield sometime in 3rd quarter.
If our guys are on song, I would expect us to win by 30 points+. Don't think the Swanees can match us in the midfield on our home ground. I do rate them though, and anything is possible on the day--oops, it is the day.

The really big match-ups IMO are Rutten on Hall and Bassett on O'Loughlin.

All 4 players are in very good form and if we can silence these 2 then we will be well on the way to a win.

The reverse also holds of course.

Overall the Swans have a better forward line than ours out I believe we have the edge in the mid-field. If we can get on top there then it takes out their forward line to a fair degree.

Crows by 23 points.

Everyone's been talking up Burton on Goodes. I think Bassett will get MOL due to his good record. McLeod I think they want to play on Davis because of his lazy defensive work.

Was Burton (or anyone) on Goodes at all last night.

He nearly won the game for them on his own, especially in the last quarter when he was on his own the whole time. 11 clearances, thats outrageous. Whovevers responsible should be shot as it was just Sydneys inaccuracy which lost it for them in the end.

It was the Burton - Goodes matchup in the first half. Not really sure what happened after that although late in the 4th I think Shirley was on him. Super game by Goodes, just waltzed in and claimed ball after ball.

And didn't Bassett get a hiding cost us 3 goals

The hound dog looked like he kept getting caught for pace and looked exposed in the 1 on 1's . How good was Macca back there in those last 10 or so minutes. Whilst everyone else appeared to be slipping and fumbling due to the conditions he made it look like it was a perfectly dry day. Loved how he also handled the footy between his legs in the goal square.
