Might happen but Roughead, Deluca, Willits, Kirkby, Limbach are all talls. Jackson is a tall flanker similar to Deledio (without the pace).

We sure need big blokes but I can't see us recruiting a batch of 5 of them at the same time. Can't see Wallace going for Willits in any case.

Of the group only Deledio has pace. You'd guess Wallace will want a couple of speedsters which is really his trademark.

yeah cant see that happening, they are all 188cm plus. dont see us picking up too many of those. burgan has assumed we are just going for talls, where i expect we will be picking up the best available at each selection. plough and miller know we need strengthening in all parts of the ground, not just the spine and the ruck!

yep you and Weaver are spot on.

I reckon Jordan Lewis and Eckermann(i hope) will be there, Eckermann has pace and Lewis is the hard ball getter

Picks 12 16 and 20 is where the draft will make us or break us in the next 5 years. Deledio seems certain No 1 now, followed by the other top 3 + Wood Meeson and Roughead. At pick 12- I was hoping that Jordan Russell would be around...but most likely he'll now be gone. If thats the case then we must take Chad Gibson at 12. Gibson can play- hes underated by many but he can play...I certainly rate him much higher than Meyer who has his admirers at punt road. 16 and 20- I would just take the best player here still. You cant stuff up if you take the best player. I dont even think its a necessity to take a young ruckman this year. Late in the draft I like Reddin, Hill, Juniper and young Laidlaw. That would be a good draft. All we need is for common sense to prevail with our first 5 picks and we'll be ok!

Apparently next years draft is going to be very weak in talls and KPP so expect us to take a few here, but 6 seems a bit excessive for one year.

KPP and onballers/mifielders is what we need, with a ruckmen to boot.

We have enough flankers, pockets and rovers.

To be the people which make up our first 2 picks. I want Deledio and Griffin but id be happy with the more realsitc option of Deledio and Roughhead.

If we do get Tambling, i just hope it isnt at 1.

No matter what happens with our first 2 our 3rd, 4th and 5th picks are going to be vital for our long term future.

Targeted the engine room and corridor and went after skilled youngsters with pace.Remember that for tomorrow please Richmond.

Stribling and Deledio would finish a sprint together;
Ryan Griffen has pace and precise delivery,
Lewis isn't as quick but will knock 'em over and has nice skills.
Bate is very young, quick, jumps and finishes well.
Maric taps well, takes a mark, shows skills.
West Meyer and J. Griffen are very tall-mobile units: Agile, quick and ALL play CHF, CHB and RUCK competently.
