There is nothing "special" about Crouch. Since he has been drafted the word was "this boy just knows how to find the football". He was always going to be an okay footballer that averages 25-30 disposals a game. Despite kicking 2 goals on the weekend he rarely kicks goals, doesn't have a good goal assist or scoring involvement stats compared to other mids that generate his numbers. And there has been questions (heard on radio) over his defensive side of his game.

DBJ is and will be in the future the superior player

Lol Boak is having his worst year of football and still averages more goals, goal assist, the same scoring involvement (despite Spud averaging more disposals). The same averages for tackle, Boak also has a better disposal efficiency and inside 50s

So yes Crouch's best year is just better then Boaks worst
